Re: What are you reading?
Right now I'm reading The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon. It's a wonderfully written book, very psychedelic and fluid. I like to think of what I'm reading as if I'm watching a watercolor painting develop. Pynchon has a wonderful way of creating these crazy scenarios, where it's hard to understan...

Re: Climategate: greatest scandal/conspiracy in modern science?
And why shouldn't the government push these things? Name the downsides in this shift. I understand how this could be perceived as government having too much power, but I personally don't see it this way. People won't change until they are forced to and that stubbornness would be the death of us. If...

Re: Climategate: greatest scandal/conspiracy in modern science?
I see you've used the word inefficient. I assume you know what it means then. Exactly why would this be considered a bad thing, for auto makers or for consumers? There's nothing wrong with making efficient vehicles, but why penalize a car company that is making cars that people want to buy that's m...

Please, point this lie out to me, or at least back up your claim that it is a lie with some kind of research.Commander_AK-47 wrote:It's not that. It's the principle. It's all based on a lie, therefore we shouldn't tolerate it.

Re: Climategate: greatest scandal/conspiracy in modern science?
It's not that they want to change. They want to change our habits, what we drive, what we buy, what we use. Scam us into buying green stuff, and changing out lifestyles. Also, I have to ask, How are "they" trying to change your lifestyle? By having people drive more fuel coefficient cars?...

Re: Climategate: greatest scandal/conspiracy in modern science?
I personally don't believe going green will do anything for the planet either though. It's a fad, simple as that. It doesn't matter though, the damage has been done. We never really had a chance to stop it either, it was just a necessary side effect of industrialization. But The planet is changing, ...

Re: Climategate: greatest scandal/conspiracy in modern science?
Sure there is climate change. It alternates based on the suns intensity cycle, 50 or so years of hot and 50 or so years of cold. So you want scientific fact? Here is some, global warming, or rather, the belief that we're causing it, is total bull shit and a complete liberal hoax. Watch a documentar...

Re: Climategate: greatest scandal/conspiracy in modern science?
I hope they take back Al Gore's Nobel Prize. I hope this gathers more steam and not brushed aside by the mainstream press. I'm so sick of going green. I could care less about "global warming". If it's going to happen, it's going to happen. The reason I'm in support of going green is that ...

Re: Flashback: The Quest for Identity
I have the Genesis version, but I've yet to play it.
I know that recently someone ported the PC version to Sega Saturn. I want to check it out. Apparently it's a good conversion.
It's funny that it's now on almost every system. The Genesis, the CD, and now the Saturn.

Re: Favorite game soundtrack?
I'm picky about game soundtracks. I love a lot of them, but I'm only going the list the soundtracks that I would listen to outside of the game. I'll also post a track or two of my favorites from each. Final Fantasy X - I thought this soundtrack was beautiful, and it fit the flow the game perfectly. ...

Because Dracula's Castle is a believable environment? You know, maybe I hate it just because it's upside down... It's not a bevievable enviroment anymore, it's just a stupid videogame. It destroys the mood of the game. And the music only worsens the experience.

I think he was referring to the cel-shaded FPS XIII. Not Final Fantasy XIII.
