Re: Lion vs Tiger

Only when the lion and the tiger join forces to become the Liger can one or the other be defeated.

Re: Converting your PSX Backups for PSP

Platforms (none the less companies) need financial support to continue to not only exist, but also provide you, the consumer, with the things that you enjoy. Therein lies the problem. Companies are not sufficiently providing us (the consumers/dollar signs) with the things we enjoy. They only see th...

Re: What Are You Listening To Now?

Dragon Force is alright. The grandness of each song gets a little tiresome after a while in my opinion

Re: Converting your PSX Backups for PSP

I've actually been wanting to do the LED thing too. Makes it look awesome! In regards to playing rare/hard to find games for the ps1/psp, because of the internet you don't even have to buy them! You just have to know where to look! Of course I completely support owning the originals as I am a...

Re: Converting your PSX Backups for PSP

It really is incredible. Its probably one of the biggest FUCK YOUs to sony ever. Just looking at anyones psp with official firmware makes me pity them because they just have no idea what their tiny $180 toy is capable of. Ive had my psp for a while now and I havent bought any UMD games for it, yet I...

Definitely Otacon as my choice. His encyclopedic knowledge of well, everything is fucking awesome! He is a true-blue geek (his nickname is otaku convention for god sakes!). Imagine hangin out with him sharing a drink and a smoke and just picking his brain.

Converting your PSX Backups for PSP

Anyone interested in converting their PSX backups to the PSP's EBOOT.pbp format; here's a great program for that. You will also need the file BASE.pbp, but that file is official Sony code so its illegal to distribute it. You'll have to find it on your own! Google is your friend.

Re: King's Field anyone?

They are 1st person RPGs, but the RPG aspects of them are minor. They are actually more adventure games really. The "first" one in America is actually the second one in Japan and so forth. I was extremely delighted and surprised when I found that out because I fucking love those games. I s...

King's Field anyone?

Anybody here a fan of the King's Field series of games for the PS1/PS2? It's one of my favorite franchises. Huge 3D landscapes, fantasy/medieval themed, NPCs, elves, polygonal skeletons, all in 1st person! The games require a lot of patience and concentration as well as the will to explore vast area...

Re: Trying to get into computer programming/science as a hobby..

I came upon an old copy of Beginning Programming For Dummies, but it uses visual BASIC as a starting point. Seems like a very good book but im thinking about just going for C++. If im going to spend time on learning a language might as well be the language eh? Thanks for the link Jimbo, seems like a...

I suppose I need a lot of books! Does anyone have any good recommendations? I'd appreciate it. Also, if you are an avid programmer or computer aficionado, how did you get into it? where did you start?
