Re: HDMI Cables

All right, thanks...this is looking like the one I'm gonna get: http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-Cable-6ft-1080P-HDTV/dp/B00123WZWK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1244951538&sr=8-3 look good? Yea, that looks like it should be good for what you need. It is also the most recent available ...

Re: HDMI Cables

When it comes to HDMI cables, a cable is pretty much a cable (unless you are worrying about the version ). Because HDMI carries a digital signal, if the tv gets the signal, it will display the image just as well as an expensive cable would. This is unlike Analog cables (composite, component, s-video...

Re: Just an idea...

I think it would significantly cut down on non-project posts in the status thread. It could be set up, like originally stated, finished aspect list is crossed out, a to-do list, and what is currently being worked on.

Re: Played through the original version (spoilers)

The 3DO version is the first copy that I played all the way through, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The PSX and SS versions are both better quality and have more content, but in no way is one version leaps and bounds better than another (ex. PCE Snatcher & PSX Snatcher)

Re: Played through the original version (spoilers)

In my opinion you are probably better off getting a copy of Policenauts for 3DO and then emulating it on freeDO. Unless you have other reasons to get a 3DO, I think that's your best bet.

Re: Policenauts PC-9821 emulation guide

EDIT: Oh, looks like Alcohol virtual drive doesn't support analog audio... I tried some other virtual drives, and they either don't support analog, or don't support cue files. Can anyone recommend me a good program? I use magicdisc, which supports tons of filetypes and has never given me any proble...

Despite what Spencer said I'm pretty sure that the the Policenauts dump is still in it's very early stages, still working on getting the original text from the game extracted completely. So I really think it's a matter of if you want to wait and experience it with all it's nuances once it is transla...

That´s the question. Personally, i don´t see any thing sovled, when he dies (in less than 25-24 days)
If you don't see anything solved by his execution than why are you for it?

I don't support what he did, but how is his death going to help resolve anything? He should be held accountable for what he did, but how is the US. setting an example by killing those who pose problems instead of looking for ways to help solve them. The U.S. Government and too many Americans tend t...

Metal Gear is hard so there´s no reason to feel embarssed It is? I completed both MG and MG2, for MSX, in a week :| I don't think that it is necessarily the difficulty of the game that makes it hard to beat but the lack of direction and the sense of what you are supposed to be doing compared to the...

You can't say that the voice over doesn't fit Snake based solely on your own definition of his personality. Kojima was directly involved in casting Otsuka and that was the voice that Snake was meant to have. So pretty much you are saying the voice that the game used originally and was hand picked by...

Why wasn't Subsistence released for PC?

I have been thinking about this and I'm not all too sure why when Subsistence was released it didn't also come to the PC. Up until now all canonical Metal Gear games have been available on PC. And usually when the game is almost inevitably tweaked and rereleased (MGS: Integral, MGS2: Substance) it h...
