This might contain some spoilers now... It might be a bit far-fetched but Snatcher's main theme is also about isolation of individuals, mistrust, etc. So maybe nobody at Junker HQ did actually have close ties to the chief to suspect anything at all? And the chief being close to Katrina, we don't kn...

Even though i'm strictly against censorship and changing content, i am actually quite happy about changing her age for the western (Sega CD) version. After all, she looks just to handsome to be a child and (hopefully) most of us westerners wouldn't have been attracted to her IF she was indeed 14 ye...
