Re: PC Engine Version Translation

He happened to get the project through INTAC and his name was in the credits for Ground Zeroes, so it's easy to assume that he also worked on the script for The Phantom Pain since they've been doing English voice work on it since at least late 2012.

I think it's supposed to be released alongside the PC version on the 18th this month.

I add you, but I don't really sign in to Skype very often.
On a similar note, I've been thinking about making a Facebook group with the same focus since I tend hang around that site a lot.

Neko Project 21 is the most up-to-date PC-9821 emulator. I used it the last time I played Policenauts and it worked just fine.

Re: Snatcher remake project (maybe)

Oh man, it's been quite a while. Anyway, I've started planning another remake of Snatcher. I don't have many details to share yet, but I will probably be posting about it in the future, though for now, I will say that it's currently planned to be released episodically and feature a point-and-click i...

Re: Policenauts Sega Saturn Translation

True, the Russian localizations are not very good, but THIS is one of a kind . The last legendary ass-sucking localization I've ever seen was Metal Gear 1. Oh man. Just how bad was that one? Also, I'm not sure just how well this bodes for The Phantom Pain considering that the Soviet troops in Afgha...

Re: Amusingly bad Video Game translations. Not just English!

Oh man, you have no idea how hard I laughed at those when I read through them a few minutes ago. Good God, that was beyond my expectations for a sub-par translation of a Metal Gear Solid game, but, truthfully, I am delighted that something so hilarious exists. On the subject of bad localizations, I ...

Re: Policenauts Sega Saturn Translation

(Amazing bad translations) HOLY SHIT WHAT H-How is that considered acceptable to be shipped in a final product for the market? That's like some 1980s-type shitty video game translation goin' on there. Is this common for Japanese-to-Russian (or more likely Japanese-to-English-to-Russian) game transl...

2. I wonder if there's MGS1 Japanese version with English subs... Wanna see Mantis's reaction towards Snatcher and Policenauts' save files. As far as I know, there are only two Metal Gear games that have been released in Japan with the ability to switch subtitle languages, and those are Metal Gear ...

Re: Toonami Reviews The Legacy Collection

I'm not sure why I don't check this site's Metal Gear subforum more often. I try to watch Toonami every Saturday (or at least let it play in the background) and I never knew about this.

Also, I miss the old Toonami -- those memories, man, especially Month of Miyazaki. Ah, those were the days.

Re: Metal Gear Solid V - The Phantom Pain

While I was reading the staff roll at the end of Ground Zeroes I noticed that Marc was listed as one of the four translators / editors working for INTAC / INTAC Plus. I think that's worth mentioning. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed Ground Zeroes. It has its flaws, but the overall experience is superb. ...

I don't know how I keep missing all these threads.
On a semi-related note, I read on TCRF's page for Final Fantasy VIII that there's s Galbadian soldier in one of the debug rooms named after Tony Redwood.

1024 x742 still isn't very large -- at least not large enough to read the small text in the title panel.
