So it seems like there's going to be some visual changes for the PCE mini. Looks like censorship is imminent.

Re: SNATCHER - 3D Remake ***UPDATED 8-18-13*** *NEW Pics!*
Any updates on this project? It's been for 6 years now and I've been following this thread since the very first post of this thread. I hate to be that guy, bu to be frank, projects like these tend to be too ambitious for just one person, especially turning a VN-game like Snatcher into an open-world...

Re: 2064: who has played it around here?
Dunno about you guys and I don't mean to necro this thread, but when I first heard of this game, I thought of it as nothing more than a nostalgic throwback to old Japanese VNs like Snatcher and simply didn't bother checking it out. I later found that this game was Tumblr personified into a pixelated...

IIRC, there's a group project called Flashpoint that's trying to archive every interactive media across the web, including Flash games for example. They might have what you're looking for, but if not, you can try asking them.

Re: Retrogaming Discussion / XRGB Help Thread
Okay, so shortly after my last post here, I got an HP Pavilon v50 CRT Monitor, and while it isn't in great shape, I can at least use it for RetroArch. However, MEDNAFEN's Saturn core runs around 50 - 70% full speed on my computer, even if a game is 2D and all that jazz, so if I ever want to play Sat...

Re: Retrogaming Discussion / XRGB Help Thread
Double-post: So while I'm waiting for my Saturn controller to arrive from Japan, my Mayflash SS USB adapter came in last week and just today I've picked up the MK-80112 Virtua Stick (that one arcade stick that not many Saturn collectors and the fighting community remotely likes) from a redneck flea ...

I had a dream about Z.O.E.
So a few nights ago, one of my dreams, for some reason, was sort-of Zone of the Enders related, only with Leo and Jehuty, and maybe Dingo too, I dunno. Not sure about Celvice. There was this world that was split into two; one side is Earth-like with blue skies and a plain field and the other one is ...

Re: Retrogaming Discussion
^ Maybe I should've add that as well. Anyway, I've beaten the two GBA Metroid games and Super Metroid using this romhack (and AM2R if that counts). Now I patiently await for a Japanese SEGA Saturn controller to come with a USB Adapter so I can play some arcade emulation. Also, there's a Secre...

Retrogaming Discussion / XRGB Help Thread
If there's a thread like this already, then bite me. So this site and its forum are basically for fans of Hideo Kojima's works other than Metal Gear, but this site also has a wiki for XRGB enthusiasts , so I decided to make a thread for every retro-game enthusiasts and collectors. Having issues with...

Re: MGO2 Might Actually Come Back
So after several delays, from early-April to June 12th, players with official firmware, meaning a non-jailbroken PS3, can now play MGO2! Of course, you're gonna need to either backup your PS3's data, or use a 2.5 HDD just for MGO2.

Re: PC-9821 Policenauts Emulation Lip Animations/Sync
Yes, I still have those, but I feel they're not fully complete due to said issues. It would've been best if we had some way of ripping those sprites off of those files instead of just taking pictures the ol' fashion way. Re: PC-9821 Policenauts Emulation Lip Animations/Sync
Ya, know. I wonder if it's possible to rip the sprites from this version off of it's file? I'm only asking because I've seen some tile rippers and shit from Romhacking.net, I'm not too sure if someone over at the PC-98 community ever made one. Oh, and BTW, there's a source code for Neko Project II, ...

Re: Best Visuals for Policenauts
I haven't tested it, but I heard Mednafen PSX is the best Playstation emulator to play 2D PSX games thanks to its native resolution and its high degree of accuracy and compatibility. If you want to use it, I suggest using RetroArch with an Mednafen PSX libretro core, since RetroArch uses shaders to ...

Re: Changing the music of Sega CD
My bet: No.
I doubt simply replacing audio files (the ones that are ripped next to the .iso unless you find one without the audio files next to it) would function if replaced. Plus, there's voice in there that's hard-coded.

Re: Speedrun
I don't really recommend TAS emulators. It just seems so game breaking.
I suggest using accurate emulators like Mednafen (under RetroArch's libretro that is) and XEBRA. PSN is accurate since it is running on a Playstation console.
