real Saturn running patched CD-R problem

What system lenguage are you using? Jap? internal memory is full? I’m quite sure just after that press start button you may get some messages about memory administration. And of course it could be any of the reasons Artemio mentioned.

Re: Policenauts Sega Saturn Translation

Good news, TechNoir, if you want to do russian, we can talk about using our tools (Artemio's tools and our tools are different). The bad news is - I don't know almost anything about coding, but if explained well, I guess I could try[...] You wouldn't have to. Just learn how our Tools work, they'll ...

Re: Policenauts Sega Saturn Translation

I haven't seriously digged in lips movements, but i think they might be changeable. Still, you would need to make a complete tool to extract, edit and reinsert new lips movements into game code.. and that could be really tough.

Re: Policenauts Sega Saturn Translation

Sadly in-game telops and background images are inside DATA.DPK, and those are .XDT files. You used LZO compression for those in replace of the original one, that could't be reversed to create the compression algorithm. Im seeing that the signature you chose to identify a modified image seems to be 0...

Hello Artemio,

I didn't have time to continue with this part. Are you talking about .XDT files?

Re: Policenauts Sega Saturn Translation

Thanks Artemio! I have a very capable, professional partner in Saturn, Facundo, so i think we will eventually finish it. If not, i think it will be for lacking of japanese to english translators. best name ever: Thank you, but it's our work, not only mine. Yes, we're trying to use all the previous t...

Re: Policenauts Sega Saturn Translation

Hi there, i joined the team about 10 days ago because Facundo was having troubles making the in-game string patches. I've been deeply working trying out to decode and understand all your previous work, especially the DATCH. You've done a great job. It's true that in Sega Saturn things are quite more...
