Personally I found the Radio Play sucked quite a bit, it was acted so lousy it was more funny than anything else. Just because it was so weird and rare in Europe it got a bit of a cult status. Oh and just linguistically speaking, the japanese 'i' is not pronounced as an 'e', but the English 'e' is p...

Well basically "Rudi" is derived from my real name, and since there was this show host in Germany Rudi Carell (who recently died) people started calling my Der Rudi (Der = The in german). I've just that nick DerRudi for a long time, till on IRC this little girl started calling me MrRudi (I...

Might I just remark it's NOT an MGS collection, it's an MG collection. *mumbles something about the game being great long before MGS* Beside that trivial point, it's a very impressive collection. I never ordered the Premium Packs after MGS anymore...really didn't have the money, nor the room to star...

Re: MSX version good?

Why would anybody want the MSX version of Snatcher? The graphics are shit, the load times are unbearably long, it ends in act 2 and there aren’t any voices! This version makes the PSX and Saturn versions look like the Sega CD version. Why would anybody want to translate this peace of crap? Also som...

You don't need a 2+ for SD-Snatcher....it's a plain MSX2 game. Maybe, but my MSX2 doesn't have a floppy drive (standard on all MSX2+ computers, I think). It'd probably be easier to buy a whole new MSX2+ than it would to buy and external Floppy disc drive. I am sure you are right :) So you bought on...

There was one on ebay a couple of years ago... And I happen to know the buyer. and he posted the images here at Junker HQ a while ago: http://forums.junkerhq.net/viewtopic.php?p=2438#2438 That floppy disk is so beautifal. Too bad the port was pretty sub-par, but meh. Like most PC ports are...Konami...

I know J-War from the MSX scene, not JunkerHQ, but I haven't heard from him in a long time. You are right that he is a French guy. He had big plans for creating an MSX tribute music website or something like that, for which I wanted to contribute several of my Arranger stuff as well. But it looks li...

Basically they changed it because any kind of cigarette advertising is illegal is a lot of countries. Snake smokes Lucky Strikes, but all the references that made his cigarettes look like Lucky Strikes have been removed. Kojima even refers to changing that on purpose in the Metal Gear versions inclu...

Of course it's possible. UMD can hold 1.5 GB of data. Policenauts is by far not that big. Even if both PSX CD's would be filled completely - which they are not - it would be less than 1.5 GB.

Heh first time I played Snatcher, Kojima was a complete nobody...sure, Metal Gear was a great game, but back then, programmers got more credit than writers. Therefore Hiroyushi Fukui was a name I remembered long time before anyone noticed Kojima :) When Metal Gear Solid became a hit I played all the...

I highly doubt EVA was the mother, every ounce of my brain screams that that isn't right. Plus, EVA dissapeared before the Les Enfants Terrible project began... Yes, and why DID she dissapear? Huh? Huh? ;) There is no way of telling who the surrogate mother would have been, aside from the brief mom...

Sorry, but you're wrong. They won't hear you when you're stalking. That's the point about stalking in the first place.. no sound. Maybe you walked into the guard before grabbing him? Yes, they will hear you when you walk or run with the analog stick, but not when you stalk with the directional pad....

How did you like the game MrRudi? I am curious.... I think it was well done, I like the added thrill of not having radar, it adds to the actual make-belief that you are infiltrating, and you need skill to do it. I liked the camera shifting option with R3 too, used it a lot to fix it on the path of ...
