I'd say worse than wasting the paper is the fact that you didn't need a guide to begin with. I'm completely ignorant of the Japanese language, yet there was no real hardship for me playing the game. The only point when I needed a guide was for the bomb disposal. And yes, I did click randomly - a lot...

Damn straight. Though I'm sure 87th is already very eco-friendly and doesn't need me to lecture him, right?

How come? Shouldn't the movie be even better? Think of it in the same way as Lucas' director's cut of the original Star Wars trilogy. Greedo shoots first, an unimposing CG Jabba, Hayden Christiansen in the final line-up, and a bad dance number round out Lucas' "improvements". Of course, I...

I want mine to say "NOT A TERRORIST" on it, Ben. That means you'll be the first to suspect. Anyway, terrorist or not, you can't look at this attack as anything more than human nature. Maybe the people who committed this act want to say there was a cause for it, but the truth is, we're all...

Or what? What do you find so great about it?

And how much did you pay for your Saturn? I bet whatever you paid, you got ripped. I could've sold you one much cheaper.

While this is a dialogue-heavy series, it's not like what's being spoken is poetry. How many times can you listen to what's being spoken in the radio conversations before getting tired of it completely (in either language)? And if you like a certain cutscene, I don't see the quality between audio tr...

Ingram, did you say that both Hayter and Keaton acted well in MGS3? Wow. You know, I'm sick of David Hayter. I agree that he was great in MGS1, as was everyone. But he seems to overdo it now. His voice just doesn't seem to fit the character the way it did in MGS1. Keaton on the other hand was just a...

What kind of credit cards do you guys use? I figure I'll need to get one now if I ever hope of doing anything online. I tried registering on eBay today and was shocked to see that they now have to confirm your information with a credit card (I wish I hadn't gotten all my other accounts suspended now...

I just got pissed off that in the twin snakes remake ZOE replaced all its traces of Policenauts compared to the original PSX release. This peeves me cause people need to know about how awsome policenauts was, newer gamers ya know that probly won't play the original. Okay, maybe I'm about nine month...

Snatcher, his best work? Be reasonable. It's only a point and click adventure. The title of masterpiece should only go to MGS1. That to me is one of the most important games ever created, not to mention one of the best.

No, having full chunks already defined and reading, is what I was talking about. Then I definitely have no understanding of why you love this genre. Why not just watch a movie? That would be a whole lot more satisfying in my opinion. Playing Policenauts just made me feel like I was navigating a DVD...

Ha, yeah, I used to read those books. I thought that was a pretty inventive way to tell a story. You have so many different endings, everyone ends up satisfied. But hey, I wouldn't say no other kind of game can deliver this sort of experience. Are you simply talking about a game where the story chan...

You're right that all that matters is how you want to be entertained. But I feel that the point-n-click adventures need a real level of commitment in order to play them, because it's not as simple as watching a movie or reading a book and it's not as involving as playing an actual game. So while you...

Hey, I'm sure a lot of you have sentimental feelings about the games you played in your youth, but honestly, do you really feel compelled to play these kinds of games all the time? A game like Policenauts for instance is just a one-time playthrough for me. There's no replay value and hardly any chal...

I second the thought too. As it is the strong reason I have been getting pull latley on the PC9821 translation project. There is no hope in this world for PN making a global debut commercially...
