Awesome. Thank you very much. Now I can print my favorite Policenauts logo at A0 size for my room.
Thanks.

::EDIT:: From the look of that picture, please ensure the ISO and Mp3's are all in the same folder, so that when you load the ISO in GENS, it loads everything with it. Why don't you create a complete image (ISO+AUDIO in 1 file) with your burning program? If you don't know how do it, you can donwloa...

I never beat SD Snatcher (don't like RPGs) but the version I played didn't have any Japanese characters that I recall. Tried it and it has the same translation error, it's still the one from Oasis. Anyway it's a bad version because they hacked it by removing Konami from 'Presented by Konami' lines,...

Yeah, SD Snatcher was the very first fan translation. Hey, if anyone wants to work on the programming side of a new translation, let me know. I'll translate. I looked on the internet and found some discussion at msx.org: http://www.msx.org/forumtopic7527.html And here is someone saying he could do ...

It's been quite awhile since I've played SD Snatcher, but I seem to recall coming across more than one untranslated line. In the early days when I played the game a lot, I only found one line which was not translated at all. That was the line after you got L-Angel from a naked Snatcher. A few years...

SD Snatcher translation help wanted
Hello everybody, I was last night playing the english version of SD Snatcher and I found that one text in the game is not translated at all. It's the first time I noticed it. The message is attached as png to this message. The Japanese text start with 'Re' which I found strange, perhaps it's just a ...

Policenauts PC-9821 emulation guide
Hello everybody,
Here is my first version of the Policenauts PC-9821 guide. It's not completed yet (version 0.01) but it should be good enough to play the game on the emulator Anex86 or T98-Next.
Any comments, suggestions etc are highly appreciated as I already said: It's just version 0.01.

Sweet! Too bad it's so expensive, though. Expensive:? You're kidding. Nobody has placed a bid. You only have to pay the shipping costs. I'm seriously thinking about it. I don't need the monitor as I already have a Microvitec CRT which can go down till 15kHz. Anyways, I decided not to go through the...

Hello everybody, I can announce that the transcription of all the English voices of the Sega CD Snatcher is almost complete. Only 2 conversation transcribed from me must be checked. I would really like to thank Reborn from the Ashes for sending the final pieces to complete the work. There is only on...

I don't have the NECCD.SYS and about config.sys...well, it's completly empty.:???: Are you sure, how the hell could you run the game then, without a sounddriver and a CDdriver? I'm very interested where you get your copy and what kind of files it all contains. Could you give me a list of that? And ...

You're really confusing me here. I used Anex86 at first because it was relativly easy to handle, but I have actually no idea what you're talkin about now. What I meant do you use the same diskimage with Anex86 as for T98-next? If this is the case, I think I know why you don't hear any CD-music...

I found last night version 2.11 revision 1.20 on the internet of AVSDRV.SYS. I tested it and there is still no lip animation but the stammer sounds are there. So this version is even worse. It looks like that you really need version 3.10 for lip animation. I hope the boys with the real hardware and ...

Maybe epitaph or MrSeed could talk about how they got around this problem. I didn't notice it earlier because I didn't play it so far but now you mentioned I see that the lips movement aren't there. With some testing I found out that the problem is the sounddriver. When I use version 3.10 of AVSDRI...

A question to those who have played Policenauts on an Anex86 emulator: What exactly are the 3 redbook tracks that suffer from audio problems? I did not play it completely but I just checked the tracks from the CD and I found this till now: track 1 - data track 2 (0:04.2) - konami wave intro track 3...

Anex98 emulates PC-98 Policenauts pretty much perfectly (PCM sound plays fine unlike in T98 where it'll choke when system load gets high), save for an issue with CD-DA (a.k.a. redbook) sound; tracks will play for about ten seconds and then stop entirely. This doesn't really affect playing the game ...

I can post my autoexec and config.sys files, they have all what mrSeed posted above, but they load an audio and video driver at the end. It is something like avdriver.sys, check on your C: drive to find all the sys files listed. The Policenauts version I have runing with the emulator T98Next or Ane...

Thanks again. Just tested it and it works fine under windows and even under RISC OS. I only needed to change the filename extensions for the latter.Snatcher wrote:The page with the download is now available http://junkerhq.net/Snatcher/PCM2WAV/

Sorry to have taken so long. (Still haven't gotten Internet back.) I'll send you the transcriptions in the next couple of days, if that's okay? :) No problem, you don't have to hurry. I've more or less transcribed all the spoken scenes from Act One and Two. I don't have Internet at home right now (changing ISP), but it should be fixed by next week. May I ask how much you've done, so we don't overlap? :) Yes of course. I checked all transcriptions of the audio tracks on CD and Ac...

I've started today checking the posted transcriptions on this forum. They are excellent! I only had to correct 4 words. I thank everyone who did that time consuming job. At the moment I checked all transcriptions of the audio-tracks from the CD. I didn't found the prologue and the 'talk at the turbo...
