surely he could've eaten something else--outer heaven's dealings in buffalo/whale meat is supposed to be shady, so i doubt it'd be the only thing on the menu...

Trivial question about Jean Jack Gibson (SPOILERS)

Is it ever explained WHY Jean ate buffalo at outer heaven, knowing full well that it would make him sick? it's never properly explained in the game.

The only reason I can think of would be if he knew he was in danger, and decided to eat buffalo so investigators could find out where he'd been?

ah, never knew that the training upped the difficulty of real encounters. back on the sega cd in 1995, i'd always play the training a few times throughout the game and get a perfect score. ...then i had to buy a turbo-pad to get past that final battle with the insectors in act 3. ugh. anyway, have i...

i got uber excited over the psp--blew my xmas 2005 bonus on it. twice the price of my DS (which came with another code/trace memory), didn't even get a demo disc. the console itself is clunky, the analog stick is awful, the disc-reading is horrendously loud. playing earthbound on the train to-and-fr...

have only watched the first few anime episodes, but i've read up to book five of the manga. and wow. best thing i've picked up in years. a genius work ripe with social commentary on 1980s germany, and the 1980s itself. viz have done a great job on this one. even with the death of their PULP label, t...

and another emerges from the woodwork...

Hey chaps, just popped in to give my congratulations, appreciation, and thanks. I first came across this project at its humble beginnings, and followed it until 2003-2004, at which point real life took over and I lost track of it. Found it again at the end of February via gamefaqs. I can only imagin...
