Well I ran the text thru @nifty (an E-J/J-E text translator): Policenauts is the work which was hard labor most. It had the time as long as four years until it resulted [ from drafting a plan ] in the first commercialization (the 9821st edition sale). Then, if the 3DO version by which the next-gener...

Yes it is here konami.com/gs/patches/MGS3S_manual.pdf But it doesn't have more than a sentence for each MSX game anyway... Interesting, it says "if the single player game has been completed, additional content will be unlocked on disc 2." Is that the same extra stuff (the rest of the SVM ...

You mean the add-on pack for the first Metal Gear Solid? Well, the ones alluded to in MGS2 aren't neccesarily the ones you play in MGS:VR - in fact they're nothing to do with them, I don't think - and they don't have any story at all, and aren't essential in understanding the games in the series. T...

Totally off-topic, but am I the only one who noticed the significance of this particular topic's #? ;)

Also there was another message board that discussed that 'blue shadows' review... it was a comment about SF Alpha/Zero on the Saturn.

Can I put in a vote for the PSX version? Especially since it had the re-release back in 2003, was it? it was after the time Konami ditched the red and orange cross for that god-awful Avon/Cosmetics logo. Though I don't know if the patch would have to be different between the original PSX relea...

Quick question about the 3DO version; Would I need a Japanese 3DO to play it on or would it work on a US model? Ever since I first heard of a 3DO version of Policenauts I wondered if it'd play on US systems.

Not to take things offtopic, but you know the Japanese 'Taito Memories vol. 2' will include TNZS. (I hope they squish together v1 and 2 and send it our way... I really wanna play the Space Invaders games and TNZS.)

On a related note there are other Konami games referenced in Yu-Gi-Oh!: Vic Viper - I bought a Japanese pack at the california state fair some years ago, ($2 a pop, it was a steal) and this card was in it... What it means is that when you see rations lying around, the cans are different in color. B1 is now brown, B2 still green, and B3 yellow. Ah. *In the MP version, the contents of rations can be displayed on the item window (I'm not sure exactly by what they meant by that). I think it has to do with the contents of one of the ration types (I read on a faq somewhere there's something you need to use one of the rations for later on in the ga...

So that's why all the bosses names were like that, it was a pop culture reference thing... (I like "The Four Horsemen" actually...)

I'm considering trading up from my regular MGS3, but I hear my regular save might not work (someone said MGS2:SOL's saves weren't compatible with MGS2:S.)

Nice observation! I always thought it was simply a close-up of The Sorrow's face all the time.
