http://ds.ign.com/articles/760/760928p1.html Did you guys see this? A Konami arcade collection for DS ... Gradius, Track & Field, Contra, 12 other games. It's got all the dip switches and settings from each original machine though, you can just flick them w/ the touch screen, haha.\ That's a ni...

eBay always has a number of them. Be prepared to pay for what a game of this caliber is actually worth, though.

Agreed, that current soundtrack better be placeholder garbage. I really don't think it'll look good at all once it's even done. But I mean you've got the original Rondo -- as long as the music is perfectly intact I'm sure it'll be great. Let the fools have their 2.5-D barfitude as long as the origin...

Actually I did just read that yesterday too. I was holding out on a PSP until it gets cheaper just to play Metal Gear, but I guess it'd be nice to have a portable DracX, right? Esp since most fans of the series didn't get to play it. DX 2.5D = ugly + lose. Man I like the U.S. SOTN voices though (nev...

Yeah, I remember the guys in charge saying they'd do that -- it'll be a pretty simple process, I'm pretty sure, in any case. And yeah, my Playstation 1's modded and it plays the ISOs I found just fine. (I bought the Saturn ver new, so I don't feel guilty, haha. My friend in japan is looking for a us...

Site is sweet, but all the SCD stuff there is the chip audio -- the red book I wanted must not exist cos HorseFactory said the SCD ver is different, so it wouldn't probably appear on any JP CDs anyway.

I always loved that line in Army of Darkness. Figures the PC-E CD is the same w/ the char audio like that. Tears. I actually used all the SEGA CD red book + Geneis-composed music to make one 80 minute Snatcher "story." Like the 1980 Flash Gordon soundtrack if you've ever heard that, basica...

Bleh, well the main game itself was intact on Xbox, right? I never even finished Snake Tales on either system (I bought both Substances, for pretty much no reason). I'm not a developer or anything obviously, I could be wrong about the how easy it would be to port, but that's the conclusion I've glea...

Definitely. Another cool thing btw is that you can actually get a game over by screwing up, unlike every other newer adventure game that basically spoonfeeds the game to you. So if you're skulking in an off-limits place and do something dumb like make a loud noise, you can get busted. Or if you harr...

Meh, MGS2 was designed pretty specifically for the Playstation 2's goofy hardware, and they ported fine (besides that damn rain). To a more "powerful" system though. And I know Kojima said it could technically run on the 360, I should find that interview -- he said he doesn't see a big dif...

Yeah, I can't wait for whatever the hell Project S materializes as. And yes, Phoenix Wright 1 was the best game I'd played in maybe three years (besides Snatcher). PW2 is pretty good too (naturally). I love story- and text-driven games, I miss the good ol days. I'm trying to sell my DS Trauma Center...

Yeah, I got mine last night -- it's REALLY REALLY good. Definitely the best-translated Nintendo game I've ever played, and it probably almost could be rated M. The art style is really cool and fresh (well-animated pencil images for all chars) and you have a full 3-D space to move all around. The sto...

I've been following his comments on the 360 really closely because I'm praying nightly MGS4 goes to 360, and I think it's definitely going to happen. A: Kojima's always been diplomatic. Metal Gears for Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, Policenauts on the friggin 3DO & more, Snatcher w/ multiple port...

Adventure Game fans -- Hotel Dusk: Room 215

It's another old-school-style DS adventure game, but it's rated M (or T, I've heard both, haha) and supposedly has a really good, grown-up, thought-out story. It slipped under everyone's radar because Nintendo hasn't promoted it AT ALL for some reason. You'd think they'd be trying to capitalize on P...

Question about the Sega CD/PC-E redbook audio -- The CD music in the background when Gillian meets Random (Faded Memories?) I haven't found on any Snatcher music release. On Zoom, Track 9 - Faded Memories seems to be a remix of the in-game track. I was wondering if this track from the Sega CD ver is...

I've been loving this site and specifically keeping tabs on the Policenauts translation for a long time now -- I'm overjoyed you guys are making so much progress. RIGHT before the news broke in here about an in-sight completion date, I finally played through my Saturn copy, hahaha. I got only about ...
