Re: Current Project Status (Updated September 3rd)
I don't know if it's required, but here's some idiot-proof Policenauts.net link codes to Solidé's signatures. Just copy the code into the signature line on whatever forum profile you want to use- Signature 1 http://img58.imageshack.us/img58/9906/policenautstranslation1qt3.png [url=http://policenauts...

Re: MetalGear Solid - Existence
I think if they were making a Document of MGS4, they'd probably have waited for that to come out before releasing the Database. Then again, I've been wrong about this type of thing in the past.

This is a new trademark filed by Konami. The general assumption is that it's an expanded version of MGS4, but the lack of a &qu...

Re: Kojima Collector Wiki
It can probably be merged with an American ZOE page.
I made a lot of scans today (PAL Subsistence, PAL Promo Subsistence, European MetalGear, European Penguin Adventure, PAL MGS2:SOL, PAL ZOE and Kabushiki Baibai Trainer Kabutore), and I've already uploaded a few. I'll get some more, later.

Re: Do you spend too much on Metal Gear?
I'm nowhere near as dedicated to the process of collecting as some others, here. I'll buy something if it really interests me, but I don't give MetalGear (or other Kojima-related) items a higher priority than any other luxuries of the same quality. I have a lot of things because I've had lots of mon...

Re: Kojima Collector Wiki
Just found out about Gallery formatting. It'll automatically arrange thumbnails in rows with captions. Here's an example of the code:
It's far easier to edit than regular thumbnails, too.
Code: Select all
<gallery>

Image:Photo2|Caption 2
</gallery>

Re: Kojima Collector Wiki
Since JunkerHQ got loads of pictures of every part of the release. Shouldn't we make a sort of gallery at the pages with thumbnails and descriptions. A template is maybe needed? I think images of each release is needed on each release's page. An example of what I was going for was the PAL MGS4 page...

Re: Kojima Collector Wiki
87th... I know that listing all content/menus at MGS3S(PAL) is a bit to much. But why can't we have the name of the discs at the page? This will help people who are confused how many discs there actually is in the PAL version. In future updates it would be good with a picture of box-front, box-back...

Re: Kojima Collector Wiki
You're best to upload what you already have so others don't waste their time gathering up images that you already have. I think I've got a few things I can take pictures of, but I'll probably borrow a higher-resolution camera first. It's also probably better to set a standard image size and allow ot...

Re: Kojima games?
I think you may be placing too much importance on how he's credited. There's every chance that Kojima had more influence on SD Snatcher than he did on MGS4 (due to the size of the teams). I'd assume that Kojima comes up with ideas and is listened to on every title he works on. Though he only worked ...

Great to finally hear some positive news about the project. Helping out with the Junker Wiki has put me in the mood for more Kojima games, so this has come at a good time for me. As always, I'm looking forward to this, and the whole team has my best wishes.

I've got a copy of that VHS in better condition. If I can find it, I might put it up for sale, since I hold no interest in it.

I have never seen this before and don't really know anything about it so if you have any info (retail? promotional?, etc) please help a brotha out :wink: Judging by the lack of artwork on the disc, I'd say this is definitely promotional. I've never seen a PAL Promo Sons of Liberty in a regular jewe...

Re: Kojima Collector Wiki
Basically, the way these things work is that someone does as much as they can be bothered to do, and then other people get annoyed at the imperfections and fill-in the blanks. This makes a complete, well-designed article, eventually. If you want to do a bit of work on this, go ahead, as every little...

Re: Ryan Payton left KP
Yes, SOCOM was the first to actually use online play which made them the only online game on the block at the time. A very valuable marketing tool at the time but now every damn game has online, even if it is ridiculous for that game to have any sort of multiplayer at all. Not wanting to sound like...

Re: What is this?
FamitsuWave DVD always comes with a DVD, usually showing a similar cover to the magazine. The magazine is less of a selling point than the DVD itself, and mainly acts as a manual to the DVD. The DVD usually has interviews, trailers, video reviews and features presented by various members of staff an...

I remember MGO being mentioned in interviews with Kojima when he was promoting MGS2 (Online gaming was a much talked-about feature when the PS2 first came out, though it wasn't fully implemented until years later).

I've just started work on the MGS4 page. People can feel free to add bits to the article, or use the subtopics on articles for other games. I'm directly merging the Overlapping Kojima Games topic and the Wiki articles, now.
