Thank you, highly appreciated!

And if I may ask, when the CD version gets released would it be possible and/or legal to put the audio from the CD in the video?
A higher quality audio would make it even better : )

Excellent! Really great job, you guys.

Just some thoughts.
Sdatcher takes place in 2038, 4 years before Junker was set up, and 1 year before the Snatchers appeared; for those of you that go by the Japanese dates.
Katherine would be 10, or 14 in the English version, Jean-Jack is still a science cop, so I have no idea why he still has a navigator, and I'm assuming Lisa is already married to Freddy (Judging by her surname).

Still can't wait for Act 3 so I can find out more about that
Spoiler:
creepy Russian ship.

I have yet to watch act 2, but it looks promising so far. Lisa comes of as a bit too young (but then again, it's taking place years before the original Snatcher) and i can't recall that prostitute thing being in the original at all.
It would be great to add those talking heads like in the original to the video. And to use any matching footage, like the one of Warszaw Diner etc. 8)

So far we didn't do that because it kind of detracted, when not having full material. besides, it would only be fancy and not really trying to bring the original experience. This way it can be enjoyed as close as possible as it was by the target audience.

You're probably right, it IS a radio drama, after all.
What could be added, though, would be the names of the people speaking in front of their lines. I must admit I was having a rather hard time understanding what's going on when
Spoiler:
Jean's informant went to the restroom and was talking to a 3rd person.
Or have the lines of each person speaking in a different colour.
Just a suggestion, though. However, i guess it might be quite hard to follow who's talking to whom when even more and more characters start dropping in later on.

Bear in mind that this is "inspired by" Snatcher. It's Suda's take on a prequel, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are other moments like that.

I've already noticed some differences and since Suda wrote the story its bound to stray farther...but I don't mind it's still cool!

Some interesting things to NOTE:

*SDATCHER takes place in Winter "43" (2043)
*SNATCHER takes place in Winter "47" (2047)

*Little John was manufactured on July 8th, 2043 By Harry before JUNKER's existed (JHQ formed officially in August 2047).
*Dec. 2044 would be when Gillian and Jamie are discovered! Gillian states in Snatchers intro that he was picked up 3 years prior.
*Dec. 22, 2044: First contact. A bio-roid's remains are recovered from the wreckage SRS Flight 4003, which crashed in the Rokko Mountain range.
*Lisa Nielson is 25 in Snatcher making her 21 in SDATCHER.
*Alice Gibson was killed on Jan, 7, 2046 by a Snatcher. In SDATCHER it is mentioned she has dissapeared/is missing.
*Jean-Jack was a "Science Cop" from 2015 until 2046 after his wife was killed by a Snatcher.

Theres a 5 year difference between Snatcher version dates since 1996 US is 1991 in Japan (Lucifer Alpha date) don't know if that applies in SDATCHER?

I'm a little bumbed out that the story doesn't take place around when JHQ was founded and that its not "canon".
I would have liked to see/hear about the 3 JUNKERS that died before Gillian arrived, and I miss JHQ's staff and Napoleon...oh well.

SDATCHER is still awesome and I still can't wait to hear it from start to finish thanx to the JHQ staff here!

It would be great if someone who is talented in graphics and such would make a digital comic of Sdatcher to youtube. =)

Yes, the Japanese version of Sdatcher takes place in 2038. We bumped up the date to match the localized versions of Snatcher.

They have a talented artist working on SDATCHER...you'd think there would be more artwork on display?

I loved the translation "video" but it does need GFX!
I am I'm up for the challenge (get to flex my 2D art skills!), and I'll talk to Nell (Spoonybardess the uber Snatcher artist) about it!

Looking forward to Act 2!!!

I strongly disagree with that statement. Adding graphics would destroy the original intention, that of presenting a radio drama. If the original material had them, I'd have no issues.

I agree with Artemio.
Thats not how the content was intended to be presented.
There just being true to the creators.
Without graphics more is left up to the imagination. and that one of the reasons Snatcher was so good, Because you can walk away from the game and still think about that world that was just created in your head.

I'm not to bumed about not seeing to much of JUNKER.
We'll atleast get to see how the Snatchers arose, insted of just combating their threat to Neo Kobe.

My theory is that Gibson accidentally got Little John wet and fed the resulting duplicates Neo Kobe Pizza after midnight.

Once again, great job guys! I also agree that, with all of the artwork that has been shown so far (though I may not be a fan of all of it), they could have made a cool motion-comic out of it instead of just a radio drama.....but the music is nice :)

I think Radio Dramas are still kinda big deal in Japan, unlike here in west.
I liked the first episode of Sdatcher but had to watch it few times because sometimes it was difficult to understand who's talking to who. But this is most likely just because of my bad english skills. heh.

That's what i already asked earlier on. You can add close captions to it, adding the names of the people talking above the text 8)

It's great to finally have a complete translation of the first Act. :)

I'm curious about one thing though, what is the original format of the video ? I mean, how do you do the subtitles ? Is it a separate file that is later included with the video/audio file ?
I'm asking this because if the subtitles are on a separate file, it would be easy to modify them to another language by just replacing the text...

I'm also wondering, why separating the dialogs from the names of the characters, wouldn't it be simpler to use the caption button only for the descriptions of the scene ([vehicle arrives], etc) ?
I'm okay with the way it is right now, it's just a suggestion. :)

Anyways, thank you for what you do for the community of Snatcher-fans ! :D

We create the video, the original is just an mp3.

The names are separate since they are bothersome if you can recognizance the voices, they detract from the experience. But we added the option since we understand the need.
