Where to buy the SDATCHER CD

Post by Artemio »

el_ash asked me where he could get the SDATCHER CD, and he also suggested a topic might be made for those interested.

There are a few places one can buy the CD at this time, so here goes.

YesAsia is the cheapest: http://www.yesasia.com/us/suda-51s-sdat ... /info.html 43.49 USD and free international shipping (but beware of potentially slow holiday transit time with free shipping). Thanks to @jakoavain for the tip!

There's also Play-Asia: http://www.play-asia.com/Suda_51s_Sdatc ... -4f23.html 41.49 USD with various shipping speeds and prices.

Then there's CD Japan: http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=GFCA-295. They have it for 3333 yen, and EMS shipping to America is 1200 yen. Grand total, about 57 USD. Thanks to @Ikari_DC for the tip!

Next is Amazon Japan. You can create an account from outside Japan and use your credit card; they are 3500 yen apiece: http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B005OCSUYM. Shipping is around 2000 yen to America, bringing the total to 5500 yen for a single CD (ordering multiple copies, up to four it seems, has the same shipping cost). That is around 71 USD currently. How about that strong yen, huh?

The other option is to get the "complete set", or one with the translucent folder and postcards at Konami Style, but they don't do international orders. You'll have to go through an intermediary service such as Rinkya. That will bring the cost up quite a bit; a single complete set is 4200 yen, and you'll have to pay the service fee and shipping to them (28 USD combined total) in addition to shipping to you.

Grasshopper did ask on Twitter if people would like to buy it via their international shop, which would probably be the cheapest means of all, so if you want to buy directly from them make your voice heard: @Grasshopper EN

Hey Artemio,

It's been a long time since I've been around, but I've got an update for this.

http://www.konami.jp/project_s/info_120131_01.html

It looks like as of 1/31, it has been decided to release SDATCHER on Japanese iTunes. But the date and price has not been revealed yet.

The Snatcher and Policenauts soundtracks are available to Japanese iTunes for 1800 yen and 1500 yen respectively.
