Snatcher Sprite collection

Post by nickdaring »

Just ran across this guy creating a collection of Snatcher sprites-

http://www.spriters-resource.com/commun ... ?tid=17190

It seems to still be a work in progress though.

Also SD Snatcher sprites!

Ash would love some of those sprites, they'd be useful for his mod.

I actually have my own similar collection that I made somewhere on my HDD...

I'm still debating how to implement that kind of picture in a picture effect for the mod.
I'll be using my own 3d models to represent the faces using the sprites as a reference.

Very nice work though!

I have a feeling that the mugshots aren't complete, mostly Gillian's.

Also, I've herad from this guy named TheParoxysm on The Snake Soup that said when he was going through the assets of the Sega CD version he found all the sprites pre-arranged in sprite sheets, you know, just incase anyone feels the need to decompress them.

Yeah, looking at the profile shots Gillian is missing a few faces, like when he encounters the time bomb in little john (which btw is different between PC-E and SCD versions), the upset face he makes during the conversation with the fortune teller in alton plaza, or the disappointed head hanging bit as he says he'll "never buy one of those stupid [pizzas] again".

The PC-Engine version

The Sega Saturn/PSX versions have a similar "anime" exagerated image, but different.

Just came across this during a search, glad you like. Sadly I am not ripping snatcher sprites anymore since I've gotten involved in a few other things I may start ripping again but I posted these on tsr so if any other ripper wanted to rip the games they could use mine to save them some time. It was fun trying to figure out exactly how large each tile was for damage in sd snatcher comparing them to screenshots so that one is pretty accurate.

if I do return I'll probably rip Popful Mail first since I made the now I see it as the ridiculous claim I'd rip everything from the game. Got close, but no cigar.

I really wish I had something I could post here to add :(

I have this but it's old, never released though so if anybody still uses rpg maker 2000 can use it or whatever (if you want to edit, Save the file as a 24 bitmap first copying and moving sprites to something like a png will leave them discolored if you don't)

(edit number 2) found this one too, god I need to organize my computer files better. It's like a I'm some kind of computer data hoarder... :|
Here you all go ^_^
These were being put together for rpgxp, but I stopped on that project a few years back (they are actually 16x16 but min xp uses is 32x32
