"A compelling story and script written by Jeremy Blaustein, the man behind the English Snatcher, Metal Gear Solid, the Silent Hill series, Shadow Hearts, Suikoden 2 and many more."

Laying it a bit thick there isn't he? He worked on those projects, but he shouldn't be claiming main responsibility for them.

Wow. That's some serious fucking talent joining forces on a project!

A dream team IMHO. I wish them the best of luck!

*I'll be donating for sure. I'd work for less than FREE to contribute in some other way if I could though...oh well lol!*

Cool to see news have been spreading already. I'd expect every forum member to splurge this project with loads of cash!

Let's make this happen!! - This is the most exciting thing since Policenauts' translation patch!

I'm so glad to be here among fellow Snatcher fans. I hope you can all consider supporting what I am trying to do. As for the "laying it on a bit thick" please understand that I have never made the claim to have done anything other than what I did. That is not my direct quote.
The important thing though is that I am working to create a game that Snatcher fans will love and I really need your support. If the desire is not there from you guys, I don't know where it would come from. Please give me your support.

Glad to have you here, sir! I think what you're doing is great, and I can't wait to see the finished product. You certainly have my support, and I'm sure everyone else, too!

Indeed, the Kickstarter seems so tailored on this community, that the first time I heard of it I thought it was a project born on these pages!!

Glad to have you on board, Jeremy!

Now what else can we hope for... Wait, maybe I know... Ending theme composed by Muranaka / sung by Harrell? ;-)

Ah, my apologies!

As much as I'd love to contribute I'm not in the best financial shape at the minute . Wish you the best of luck with it.

Of course, with a hardcore team like this, it's gonna be a great Snatcher descendant.
BTW, who's voiced by Jeff Lupetin?

Guys, despite the new mockup photos and the announcement that Donna Burke is on board too, the efforts are flagging. I hope everyone will convince at least one friend to back this awesome project. The world is in dire need of snatcher-esque adventure games!

Let's face it; it's not going to make its goal at this rate. Any back up plans for this project, Jeremy? Would be a shame to see it die.

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with the above. There's just not enough people for this genre of gameplay. If it doesn't make it's goal, I really would hate to see it go....

I don't think this exactly true. There is a market for this type of game and I believe the success of games like Phoenix Write and 999/Virtue's Last Reward proves this. Why this game isn't getting funded is most likely in the kickstarter campaign itself.

Honestly, there really isn't much on the table right now that makes me excited about the game. I personally find it hard to visualize how the game will turn out, considering Jeremy Blaustein has never directed a game, only worked with localizations. This isn't a kickstarter like Broken Age or Mighty Number 9, were just the name of the director was capable of giving the backer a clear idea on how the project will turn out. Since you don't have a major director under Blackmore, the only thing left to sell the project is a small plot summary, a few concept pictures and two screen shots that are very much work in progress. The end result is wary potential backers and people that are on the fence.

(NOTE: I'm not trying to bash the project. I'm just saying it's doing a bad job at selling it to me.)

The lack of (I guess) advertisement also hits it. Personally, I'd love to back up at least 20-30$, but after the rouble crash - nope.
