It is most correct, you do rape Mac alot James. We know you love Apple, you love iPod and how you love Mac, but the rest of us are on Windows, please don't taunt us with your huge screen that can display an amount of stuff that is simply not needed. Mac lack software and alot of other things, the only good thing i can see at the minute is that they are super virus freeRick Deckard wrote:Christ's Fat Cock... That must be slightly more tricky, surely...
"Plenty of rain today, eh."
"Yes. Incidentally, the colour of the scrollbar in my Mac's Internet Browser is Rain Blue."
"Really? That's my favourite shade of blue."
"Don't be ridiculous. It doesn't exist."
"I resent your accusations of ridiculousness - you're the one who mentioned it!"
"Yes but only so I could crowbar my Mac into the conversation."
"Well in that case I'd rather not converse with you about the weather or any other topical subject, lest I have to endure more of your hastily constructed points that have clearly been contrived in order to allow mention of your arguably superior personal computer."
"Fine. Go home and watch the rain through your Windows... computer, that is! Hah hah hah."
and so on...

That's bull. Large displays aren't exclusive to Macs...I'm sure if you plugged an Apple Cinema Display into a WinTel it would work fine. And don't say that the extra space is not needed, because it often is. For example, I often perform video editing on my Mac, and I'm very grateful for my large screen to get the largest video size while editing. Screen size is always valuable, but, of course, you don't know that since your display's probably set to 640*480 x 256 colors x 60hz.randomwab wrote:you do rape Mac alot James. Well well, now both sides ciossed the line. Discussing about Mac and PC is like discussing if you like blue or green and which is the best.
Both are colors, we can see them by the same principle and both have their uses, advantages, disadvantages and quirks.
Nobody is better or worse because they use a specific system or have a specific thing.. and that is what is behind this type of flame wars always. Just reread what is posted above and see where the attacks start to become personal. Please try to avoid that.
Besides, Linux rules ^^

Hear, hear. Also, as a person whose spent many years using both Windows and Mac OS, Mac programs, "specialist" or otherwise, are much more well-programmed and feel a lot "cleaner" than a program that does the same task as an equivalent Windows program. Microsoft Office itself, probably the most used program ever on both Windows and Mac, has a far better Mac version (though I won't use it anyway because it's just as bloated as the Windows version. )Snatcher wrote:Only if you only care about popularity and impressions.87th wrote:less-popular specialist versions of programs

Yeah I do crowbar my Mac into conversations a lot, and I know I do it, but hey, it's one of the few purchases I've ever made that I'm 100% happy about, and I just want WinTel people to know that there is another choice out there. Too many people don't even realise they have a choice when it comes to operating systems.
Although I must say, I am looking forward to Windows Vista - because by the time it's released, Mac OS Leopard will be here.
And 8bitsonic's point stands anyway, big displays aren't exclusive to Macs. You can use Apple Cinema Displays with PCs, or just get a bigger monitor anyway as Artemio clearly has. I don't see the logic in buying a high-end computer and not having a massive display for it. It makes sense to be able to view multiple documents at once.
PS I never meant this to become an OS fanboy thread, as I was simply comparing my screen size with Artemio's in a bit of good natured cock-size comparing banter, so any more guff about Windows/Linux/Mac needs to go in its own thread.

Doing the game this way will give you 3 targets to hit the Snatchers at. Other than that, you'll need a little luck so that enough Snatchers get in the right place... and $50 for each time you play. It won't take long, pretty easy once you get used to it. I even made $1000 playing the game later on.
Was going to save it to the empty disk, load it up on my pc and then play the mini game. But for now I'll try this... how hard is the second game? (I've read the faq)...

Re: fMSX for PSP help
Here is how to do it.
First you need to download
2xx Emu Pack (for phat) or the 3xx Emu Pack (for slim)
then put emulator called pspmsx on your psp (you know where)
So put the disk files in the disk folder.
Start emulator
in emulator options choose:
keyboard - then set up your controls
I chose:
up: 2
down: 5
left: 3
right: 4
cross: 9
square: 7
triangle: 6
circle: 8
L trigger: 0
R trigger: 1
joy up: graph
joy down: space
joy left: shift
joy right:
hit save keyboard
(it also works well swapping tri squar crcle cross with the joy set up)
then select: back to menu
then choose settings (right below keyboard)
sound enabled: yes
sound volume: 10
msx version: msx2+
msx ram: 512
render mode: fit
save settings again
back to menu again
select load disk 0
then select disk0
when screen comes up hit your 0 key
then go back to menu by hitting the psp select key
choose load disk 0 and load disc 1
back on game screen hit anything like it says and the game starts!
when asked to load disks do it the same way by choosing load disk 0
and load the disk prompted to be put in.
enjoy!

Also when you need to save. Save in the menu save state.
When you go back to game after turning it off just load proper disk
you will get an odd screen just ignor and go to menu and load state!
When exiting emulator do it through the emulator menu.
