(How to) Extract Sega CD Voices and sound effects to wav

Post by Artemio »

I had forgotten about this tidbit of info I figured out about 6 years ago (or maybe more) while I was trying to dump the text for the game and all that stuff.

Hope you guys find it useful =P The utility is there for download also.

Thank you VERY much. That will come in real handy for the sound section of my site.

Can this be used for the game's music as well?

No, the game music is created in real time.. but I bet that some tool could be created that played just the music.. though an emulator author would be needed for the project....

Good you'll find a use for this... And iI bet you'll have fun listening to 1 hour 28 minutes and 16 seconds of Snatcher audio.....
