Selling a mint condition copy of Metal Gear Solid: Integral

The game is in perfect condition. I bought it new, so I'm the only one who's owned it. It's from the PlayStation Books collection, not an original copy, if that's at all important to anyone (it features the more recent Konami logo). It doesn't include the spine card, because I didn't feel like saving it. I'd like to sell it for $15, but I'd be willing to accept something lower if it seems reasonable. If you're interested, send me an email at Sanjuro27@aol.com.

Is it PAL or NTSC?

As far as I recall there was no PAL release for Integral.

Sallright, I've got a chipped PSX, so it should be no problem.

How much are we asking for, but?

Ah, sorry I re-read the post...

I'm assuming it's $25 US, eh...

Look, it's not that I don't have the money, OR it's not that I don't want to buy it, because I do...

The thing is that I'm 15 and on a tight budget due to the PS3 coming out in November here. I'm only paying half for the PS3 (my folks are going halves with me) but I've only got $190 out of $500. It costs $25 US over here is $33.50 Australian. That part isn't the problem, I can afford to lose that.. But then the banks charge about $35 as a fee for putting my money into $25 U.S. Then I'd have to pay for postage which'd cost even more, and I'd end up spending about $100 upwards. And I don't yet have a part-time job... that's the part I'm not too keen about... but I really want this game as a collectors item.

There any way that we could work around this? If not, that's O.K.

Thanks again.

It's all right, I understand. If rates are that expensive mailing to and from Australia, I'd likely be out money if I did sell it to you.

It's the bank's fault, really. They shouldn't charge so much for something as simple as converting currency, and it takes up no more than 2 minutes of their time.

It's sorta like expensive prostitution, really: Simple task, takes two minutes, "that'll be 35 big ones, chief".

You're absolutely right. I never understood how Vegas can charge several grand for fucking a woman just because she's "clean". It'd be cheaper to cure the disease.

Yeah, ain't it true...

Like phone sex.. I've never tried it, but the ads... they tease you and all that shit while a sexy voice says "Hot girls waiting to take your call........ for 9.99 a minute. Higher charges apply to mobile phones."

That's just outright robbery.

Isn't anyone going to buy this thing? Too bad ff7 is no longer around.

Why don't you try eBay?

By the way, guys - Integral will not work on a chipped PS! It has that mod chip lockout games like FF8 had. The way Konami implemented it was particularly evil - the game loads to the title screen, making you not suspect anything, but locks out when you start a new game, load a game, begins VR missions, etc.

What about other methods, like the disc with the spring in place? Or slide card on a Playstation 2?

As far as I know, the discs used in the PS2 disc swap can't load PS1 games, just PS2. I can't test the old old disc swap method used on the PS1 since my only PS1 is chipped. I did get away with many games just using the disc lid open multi-disc swap technique - FF8 being one of them - until I got SFZ3 and discovered that wouldn't work. That's why I got my PS1 chipped back in '99, at the same Pandora's Cube in Maryland that gut busted recently, ha! That guy had it coming, though.

No the discs i'm using are the most modern for PSX, PSone and PS2. I can run imports and ~cough~ back up ~cough~ games on my PS2. So i'm guessing it would run Intergral?

The discs can also load any PS1 game?

Hmm, I suppose this disc would work with my magic tool. Thanks for the link.

I'm pretty sure the only way to run Integral though is with the Action Replay.

I need a credit card to sell stuff on eBay. They have seller's fees that I wouldn't be able to pay unless I had one.

Hey ff7, this is Reasonwhynot. I changed my name a few months back. If you want to buy this game from me, I think you already know I'm reliable. I live in PA, just in case you forgot. Just send me an email or private message if you're interested.
