When I read the topic title I said out loud to nobody, "You've gotta be kidding me."

Policenauts hentai...and NO SHENMUE HENTAI?! This is one weird world we live in.

Artemio and I talked about this when we saw it on Yahoo Auctions once. I passed on it because it didn't seem all that interesting. I'm not sure if he bought it.

Must'a been a dime a dozen back in '96. I can see it being fodder for a lot of doujinshi...

I did buy it, and received it. I have yet to scan it, but it doesn't have the page scanned above, it is not by the same author... so there is more than one of them =P

The one I have was done in 97/5/5, and called "On our Own" by "magic Kindown" (it is the second edition if anybody cares), 34 pages long. I'll scan it later and post it here... My scaner has been out of order but it will be fixed soon.

Cool, I look forward to that. :) Maybe even a translation will be in order if it's worth it (sometime after the patch is released).

Never knew such a thing existed.

Oh and I agree with 8bit, why no Shenmue hentai? :(

Hm, I don't think this is hentai doujin, but just "parody" doujin, right?
At least that's what it looks like :P

Seems this Iwata Kiyohiko doesn't do hentai according to his/her site...
Man.... scanlated PN doujinshi, never thought it would come into existance... policenauts.net is going to be one-stop huh lol.

This reminded me to go to yoshinoya-honpo.com but it's down now. :(

There was a site with comics for Metal Gear, Snatcher, and Policenauts which were funny. I'll post it if I can find it again.

Also, Meryl's hair isn't wildly puffy enough in that comic. =D

kuriin bashion xD
Too much free time, I guess.
I was actually thinking about adding my own text to the balloons, but making a gag out of a gag seems dumb lol.
I can actually translate some of the balloons, but it doesn't help much.

SPOILERS

EDIT:

Ok, tried to translate some things... but I lost the sense of it xD
Maybe you're supposed to have played the game to even understand what they're talking about (duh). And I really can't understand what's that thing under the arrows. It looks like BEYOND COAST and explosions...
Oh well, it was good to exercise my shitty japanese...

Ah, I didn't know that "doujin" didn't automatically mean "hentai doujin". Live and learn...

The whole comic is a bit spoilerific to people who haven't played that scene yet, so I'd suggest you'd not look at it and don't read replies here if you don't want to know anything in advance
Spoiler:
Yes, it's the BC being ripped open from the explosion. You see that scene every time you fail at defusing the bomb, and as shown, the dialogue between Jonathan and Ed changes when you're retrying the defusal.
The whole scene is quite memorable as I guess pretty much everyone had to do it several times before succeeding.

It took Mamoru Oshii 15 tries to get through that part.

I'll hazard a guess and say everyone will die at least once at that part. Everyone. It's one of the most tense sequences in any game I've played, and would be legendary outside Japan too (had it been localized 10 years ago). It's even more sadistic if you're using a mouse.

All right, osiris, I'll make a bet with you, I bet that I can get it on the first time, whaddya say? I've got a knack for this kind of thing...

All right...If I win, I get to help out a bit with the patch, maybe do some spell checking, I'm not that great with programming, but I'm damn fine with English...we don't want another Zero Wing on our hands :) If I lose, I'll distribute songs from the Policenauts and Snatcher soundtracks to anyone who wants any songs. I'll provide a link to anyone who wants all of them, if they don't want a select view...fair? Or do you want to add anything?

We weren't going to have one anyway. Osiris is a real pro and somehow I'd prefer it if only he did the proofreading, or picked people to do it for him. People volunteering...that's bad news to me...

Wait, are you talking about doing it now, on the Japanese version? I thought you meant after the patch came out. If you are talking about doing it now, you need to use a mouse (the way it was meant to be played), and you can't use a FAQ of any kind (same reason).

I didn't mean it like that, I was using hyperbole to make a statement, but sometimes help is much better than going it alone, like in Level 19 of Devil May Cry 3, you know? I'm just throwing out suggestions. Yeah, on the Japanese version, I've got nothing but time, you know...

Good, game series, I'd definitly recommend it...very action oriented, not very story oriented, however...
