Easter eggs and secret scenes?

Post by Solidé »

I have played the game about three times now but i haven't seen many hidden scenes or secrets. Only some minor easter eggs to other Kojima Games like Snatcher Calendar at the hospital and sunscreen in the lab. But that's about all... can someone who has more experience of the game list some of the hidden scenes to this topic, i'd like to see those. And i'm sure there must be, Snatcher had some and this is Kojima Game after all :P

There was one extra scene I got on my second play through, it happens if you drink too much milk when you’re having dinner with Ed's family, Jonathan will then start to complain about having bad diarrhea during certain parts of the game. The scene where your sneaking into the hospital at night actually plays out a bit different if you do this

Nice, and thanks for the fast reply.
I have to try that when playing the game next time!

I have a notepad file of a few secrets. I haven't tested them so I don't know if they're true, but.... HERE!

"You can get Meryl to show up in Act 2 if you get over 200 points in Training Mode, but you can't have looked at her boobs up to that point.

You can also upgrade your clip in Combat Mode if you shoot the metal walls 100 times.

Again in Combat Mode, if you hit 10 targets, 1 shot each, without a miss, then shoot either metal wall 4 times, a little UFO will go flying across. You can shoot it for either bonus points or some life back (determined at random)."

If you listen closely to one of the voice messages in Jonathan's office in the beginning of the game, you can hear the PC-8801 version of "The Entrance to Hell" from Snatcher. It's in the message with some girl saying how Jonathan doesn't call anymore or something. It seems to be edited from the PC-88 Snatcher "Radio Play" Soundtrack.
