Post Music similar to Old LA 2040?
i just love this style of music. Any other music that has that haunting ambient cyberpunk feel? It's weird but when i listen to Old LA 2040 i feel like it's the late 80's, early 90's and like i'm in some dark basement hacking a computer. Either that or walking around a city filled with neon lights, in an alleyway. lol

Anyone know of some music that has a similar sound and feel? I know that the intro to the first Streets of Rage has a similar feel and style. for example

the killer instinct theme also has similar elements. I guess the common themes are that it has an ambient background, with very jazzy/bluesy note choices.

I woudn't say Policenauts CuberPunk, more like a Hard Science Fiction.

Great music, either way.

Not really, sorry. I suggest digging around some more on the internet.

Welcome to JUNKER HQ, by the way!

So you like Streets of Rage, huh?
You can buy a couple soundtracks by Yuzo Koshiro on iTunes.

http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/yuzo-korhiso/id269653565

They have the Streets of Rage series, The Revenge of Shinobi, and a couple of his other OSTs.
Keep in mind that most of the Soundtracks are the PC-88 version, aside from SoR3, which is the Sega Genesis version.

The best thing about it is that all of them are at a lower-than-normal price of $5.99!
Most OSTs from iTunes are $9.99.

Try Vangelis' score for Blade Runner. Deus Ex, as has already been posted, has a stellar soundtrack too.
