New International Track & Field (DS)

Post by 87th »

It seems that after the successes of Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Sega Superstars Tennis, Konami have decided to vastly outnumber the original characters in the new Track & Field game on the DS with characters borrowed from their previous games. Sparkster (Rocket Knight Adventures) and Pyramid Head (Silent Hill) were announced as characters in the game a while ago, but now many others have joined them.

Most relevant to this forum are Solid Snake (MetalGear, duh) and Pentarou (Penguin Adventure, and a bunch of non-Kojima games), but there's also Frogger (Frogger), Evil Rose (Rumble Roses), Simon Belmont (Castlevania) and five other currently unannounced characters. I wouldn't imagine Gillian Seed or Dingo Egret will be one of those secrets, but feel free to keep your fanboyish hopes up for them.

Here's the characters page from the game's website-

Jeez, I don't even know what to think from the screenshots and the trailer.
