 Re: Overlapping Kojima games?
More of MGO:
At the end of a match, when you see the score log, the amount of stuns is indicated by a picture of a man on his knees with his behind in the air, with stars above his head. A reference to Akiba in MGS1.
And a very obvious one: With certain expansion packs you can play as Raiden, Meryl, Akiba, Mei Ling and Vamp.

 Re: Overlapping Kojima games?
I noticed the sound of the computer of Jehuty in Zone of the Enders is similar to the background sound in the Computer Room and the Engineering Room in Snatcher. Well, maybe it's a coincidence, but I don't stop thinking about it when I play ZOE. Check it out : An extract from Snatcher (You can hear the background sound I'm talking about from 5:09 to 5:38) An extract from Zone of the Enders, listen carefully to the sound of Jehuty.

@ Kyrill, yeah you are right. Those sounds really are very similar to each other

 Re: Overlapping Kojima games?
Sorry to bump this old thread, but I was playing MG2: Solid Snake from MGS3: Persistence disc using an emulator (and yes, I do have PS2, but I kept it in the closet), and look what I got here:- Lucifer Alpha in MG2: Solid Snake Lucifer Alpha in SNATCHER

 Re: Overlapping Kojima games?
Does this thread still gets updates if new references are being found? I found an interesting one myself, if I may say so.
So, at the risk of being called a necroposter, I want to share it. First I must give credits to 'el_ash', his draft of Snatcher's act 3 script lead me to this reference.
At the end of act 3, jamie tells Gillian that prior to the research being conducted in Moskou (the kremlin) it was conducted at a lab in Novosibirsk. This blew my mind but I can't tell exactly why. Does my mind plays tricks on me?
I don't think so, if I recall correctly a big portion of MGS3 takes place in Novosibirsk! Come to think of it, MGS3's setting (Russia) is one big hommage to Snatcher (but I guess that that is clear to everybody).
I think it's pretty awesome that Big Boss, with his coming 'transsnatcheration' in the 'future', visits mother Russia and goes to town with it prior to his transorming in a Snatcher himself.

^On a similar note, one of Liquid Snake's proposed targets for Metal Gear REX is Chernoton, Russia, where the catastrophy took place.
I've also heard that the river in the opening scene of MGS3 (when you use first person mode) is in the exact shape of the Ina River from Snatcher. I couldn't tell, myself. I'd need a comparason; It's too fast.

Note that this only happens in the Japanese version. It does not work in the NTSC-U/PAL versions, as well as MGS: Integral.

 Re: Overlapping Kojima games?
The reason mostly being that there wasn't an english version of PS1 Snatcher/Policenauts, and that Integral uses the english localization?

IIRC, on Peace Walker, when you interrogate one of the guards, they make these dialouge sounds from either Snatcher or SD Snatcher (at least the MSX sound). Can't confirm it because I haven't played PW in a while.

Then again, i think i hardly interrogated any guards, but i *thought* they'd have normal dialogue anyways?
