Post Hideo Kojima to be guest editor in Official UK PS2 Magazine
The "Next Month" section in Official UK PlayStation Magazine reveals that Kojima will act as Editor in the next issue. Those of you in the UK should look out for it on the 18th of May.
Although my scanner isn't 100% reliable, I'll try to get as many important scans as possible, when it comes out.

I really don't know where he finds the time to do this. Especially when it's so close to E3.

I missed his movie essays run in OPM 3 years ago, so this'll be interesting.

The Hideo Kojima At The Movies articles are all on http://uk.playstation.com, if you're interested. Just put "Hideo Kojima" ino the search and they should be easy enough to find.

Thanks. :) I read the Japanese translations in MGS Naked, but it'll be interesting to read these nonetheless.

Did OPM run his Favorite Movies article? It says it was in the June 2003 issue but I can't find it online.

They did, but they never wrote it up for the website (it was too visual). I think I scanned it for this place a while ago, though. I'll try and find it.

EDIT- I found them- http://forums.junkerhq.net/viewtopic.ph ... c&start=55

That version is considerably different from his original Japanese text. They cut out about half the films (he lists about 50 originally) and also most of his commentary. Boo.

Something else to add to the new site...

My copy just arrived. Looks like they were lying about Kojima being a "Guest Editor". They do have a large section about MGS4, though, and a revealing interview with Kojima, that I'll type up later. Here's some of the more important parts-
"OPS2: Is there any word on the MetalGear film? Who's your prefered Snake?
HK: ...Who was that guy who appeared in Lord Of The Rings? You know, the cool guy?"
"OPS2: So where would the film sit in the MetalGear timeline?
HK: I haven't decided but I feel that MGS set in Alaska would make a perfect movie."
(About MG:Mark II in MGS4) "I can't say anything officially but I want that robot to take a big role in the game..."

Hood to know about MK II.. since he didn't appear in this trailer I was starting to get worried. I just hope it isn't a PSP gimmick.
