FINALLY... I got most of my pre-orders from MAYBANG.COM... I believe this is my first time and last ordering from them. They get a poor performance evaluation from me, that's for sure...

First off, the UDF figures they've sent me looks very OLD already since the plastic window encasement are full of scratch streaks. I mean, these figures were pre-ordered months before they even came out, and for it to be pre-ordered, the moment the stocks came out, it should have been packed and at least set aside (for me) to ensure that if the rest of my items come out, it is ready for delivery.

2nd, the KUBRICK boxes were taped together on ALL sides. It was so hard taking them apart and taking off those tapes so that it won't damage the box and also not to leave adhesive markings.

3rd, the figures in the shipping boxes were so loose, that the styro fillers were useless holding them in place...

Being that, they won't be getting a return business from me... Too bad also that there's one more item left for me to come from them as part of the pre-order. The RAIDEN MEDICOM R.A.H. 12 inch figure. Geesh!

Even with a heavy heart, I'm posting these hauls, because these are my LOVE COLLECTION (coz I love MGS so much...)

Very nice! You're missing the clear Ninja. I actually might know someone that might have one I believe it's $80 shipping included. Pretty good considering it's ratio is 1:96 boxes.

BE CAREFUL with the Old Snake figure! I've heard of joints breaking while posing it. There's an Olive Drab version coming out at a Tokyo Toy Show 07/20.

Isn't that the same one that's included with the PAL Limited Edition version of MetalGear Solid 4?

Nope, this is a 1/6th Medicom RAH. It's the exact same figure as the Old Snake but just different color. The one in the LE pack is the UDF figure, and I think the scale on those is 1/8 and I don't believe they're poseable.

This is also the same 1/6 RAH figure with also a different camo (olive drab).

Yeah, I've been trying to acquire a Ninja variant since I got the Snake. E-bay is my only option unfortunately and so far with the three that I have participated, it went to as high as $90+... Too heavy for my pocket. I won Snake on an auction for only $36.00 plus 45.00 shipping... Not quite bad... As soon as another Ninja clear Kubrick comes out, hopefully I get lucky to get it as low as $50...

Thanks for the warning on Old Snake. On getting a site for my collection, actually, it crossed my mind already on several occasions. Thing is, I don't know how to... #-o #-o Just so you know guys, I am foremost an action figure collector. So I have a range of action figure collection. Not too grand also. But it would be nice to see them featured on one site (my site)... Hopefully I can make one soon. Making one would require me to pay a subscription of some sort right???

Oh, if I may ask, does anyone know here , where I can get the RAIDEN MGS2 Kubrick and the Night Vision goggle soldier??? Those that I can actually afford though... hehehe!

Heh, about the Kubrick's.

12,500Y on Yahoo Japan ($125US) for the Night vision ver. Pus sellers don't ship international so if you go through Rinkya the serve fee will be an extra $43. Shipping would be cheap as it's small, they charge actual + 25%. You're looking at about $190 or so for it. I find it on ebay from time to time listed at $128 buy-it-now I believe.

The Raiden, currently 23,500Y ($235US), although one was posted recently at 20,000Y closing with no bidders. Basically if you can get it for 20,000Y the service fee is $50 plus shipping you're looking at about $265US. I'd almost pay the $235 but all the fees make it killer.

Ratios for both figures I believe is 1:96, although I have read before Raiden is 1:192. This is usually on for Bearbrick figures with the title "Impossible to find" (as Raiden does bear)

If you don't mind a broken sword on the Raiden they go for $50 plus fees/shipping.

If a Raiden hits ebay it's gonna get ugly. I know myself and a couple others ready to bid.

If you want those links to the yahoo japan auctions let me know.

Man, that RAH-box looks amazing. I love the details of the RAH-boxes (MGS3 included). They don't look as cheap as the "plastic boxes". And they keep the text simple, and not so flashy.
