Thanks Artemio, I'll bear it in mind. There's no difference between the 1st prints and 2nd's is there? Except the knowledge that it was first of course! lol!

Of course I'd never question that yours weren't legit at all mate!

The first print ones usually have a sleeve. The only one that didn't have anything special was MGS2, and MGS4 has a different presentation, similar to a BD case but in hard transparent plastic and thinner.

Ok thats cool, I'll have to keep an eye out for first prints then cos I'm a sucker for sleeves! lol.

Any ideas if the inserts on the bootlegs are the same as the legit copies? I defintely don't wanna open them up if it's the same as what I got with my Miya CD's. Obviously the quality is going to be better with legit releases but is it essentially the same design, on the inside of the CD case, on the CD and the insert booklet etc. Anyone!?

I don't know about the Metal Gear ones, you can check out my scans on the site. But the Snatcher >> Policenauts one I had, had completely different layout and some interiors were different. paper was totally different of course.

That was the only pirated I ever had.

Can anyone explain to me why they released the MGS4 Soundtrack found here:

http://wiki.junkerhq.net/index.php?titl ... Soundtrack

As a one disk edition, when they knew they'd release the two disk edition with all the tracks later on. That seems like such a stupid idea to me. I know it's all to make more money but it infuriates me because I bought the MGS4:LE PAL partly because the soundtrack wasn't available anywhere else when I bought it.

Oh well, never mind!

its basically like you said, to make more money.

I mean, look at it this way... why did they put the 6inch snake figure with the box... when they have a 12 inch coming out =P

As a matter of fact it was the other way around. The two disc one was released before the one disc one included with the games.

Yeah. I ripped my disc and everything. but after that i found a torrent of the full soundtrack, dammit. I think the LE OST only features songs of Harry right? I still think the others are better, a more MGS feeling to them.

I got this about 3 years ago...

Some seller in e-bay got all the soundtracks compiled into this collection. Each disc have the original labels stickered on each cd. Of course they're all ripped and burned copies, but it was well done if I may say so...

Well, not really all soundtracks. But then, it was til MG Acid 2 was the final MG installment.

I plan to get all the originals pretty soon though.

That is an incredibly low price. The photo is from the legit item indeed. I do have it (never uploaded the scans) and it is well worth that money and more.

Yeah you're probably right. I've always wondered how much niyachan has to pay for all those items he gets shipped to Spain.

Hi guys, just received my sealed CD! lol. In perfect condition and the shipping was fairly fast. Like Violent said in another thread, shipping from the U.S. isn't fantastic and can take an age but it's all good and at least it's here safe now. I can recommend that shop and I'm assuming that the CD is gonna be awesome just like all the other Kojima/Metal Gear soundtracks.

Anyway, can someone help me please. I wanna keep this sealed. Would someone be able to help me get some high quality scans of the inserts and would someone help me get a (preferably lossless) copy of this so I can listen to it? 'm dying to listen to it but I'd rather try to get a copy (which might I add is completely LEGAL now that I own it) before I consider opening it. If no one can send me a physical copy, I don't mind if I have to download the files via FTP or the like.

If anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Jonathan

I'm actually thinking of getting one, but MG soundtrack is actually on the bottom of my list for soundtracks.

If I get one, chances are, I'd open it up and listen to it, and then regret it, but then it wouldnt matter ahaha.

It's your call, but I've heard a few times that it's better to buy the rarer items first. Stuff like the MGS 1, 2.1, 2.2, 3, 4, PO, AC!D will be around for a long time. This is slowly becoming a rare gem.

My next one is MGS4 first print, then I'll move on to MGS2.1 & 2.2 first prints and then MGS3 I hope.

I actually would love to get a hold of the MGS4 first print, but then im pretty sure I wont be able to hear the difference. the difference in price is about 10$ too, which isnt much.... the thing is, i can rarely find them nemore.
