at the bootsale

so basically every sunday if the weathers not too bad i go to the bootsale. looking for treasure.
today i went with £100.

got 32 sega saturn games for £12 (including panza dragoon saga) bargain.
4 ps2 games £5 (including zone of enders 2nd)
a n64 console with 10 games (including both zeldas and super smash bro) £18.
a bag of 8 hot douhnuts with sugar £2
a cup of tea £1

and this demo disk £0.10p

I'm guessing bootsale = garage sale or flea market?

i would go to those, but too bad nothing close to me.

PSW discs does not contain playable demos only videos etc but the cover artwork is great. Congrats from me

its basically a field with loads of cars parked up with tables set up where people sell their old belongings.

yeah its a popular thing in this country. even shows on the tv about it.
lol

personally i think its a place full of a lot of weird people that i can get a better bargain then on ebay.
obviously the only downside/upside is you dont know what you are going to find.
and you dont know if the weather is going to change and you get soaked

bootsales are wicked.
they helped me complete my ps1 uk collection now my sega saturn collection is complete that includes uk us and jap.
i bought so many things over the years.

Haha yalls UK terminology is quite tricky for me. I just realized what "boot" ment.........it means trunk here in the US. So do people just open the trunk of their cars and let you graze around until you find something?

And JT, what does your "Quality!" mean?................Like "Awesome" or "Nice!"?

I really need to find out which car boot sales are any good in the newcastle/North Tyneside area as every one i`ve ever tried has sucked and I`ve found absolutely nothing worth buying! Which is all the more tragic when you consider the amount of different and varied crap i collect!
