Post You're latest auction win!
I love seeing what people buy, especially if they get a good score. If you've just won something, post the link!

Try and format it:

Won: item
Link: whatever.com
Price: xxx
Comments: maybe you sniped it, maybe you paid less than half your max bid, maybe you've scored an item you've been hunting for a long time etc

Won: MGS2 figure set, sealed on card
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=012
Price: $33
Comments: Snipe of course. My max bid was 88.88 so I'm more than happy with what I paid, I think it's less than retail price. What's funny is I've seen open figures of the RAY sell for $40-50 for some odd reason.

Very cool price on those figures. Would expect them to go for higher than that.

The ones I have open cost me $9.99 each heh. The 4 I have cost me more than the 7 I just bought.

Heh, your recent poster score was a good one too. I've seen it close around $80-100 in the past!

Oh yeah I forgot about that cheers for reminding me:

Won: Metal Gear Solid 4 Official Japanese Promo Poster
Link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320288074341&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=011
Price: $22
Comments: Wasn't particularly in the hunt for this poster, but I've liked it for a while and it's realistically the only official poster of the movie style ones I'll ever be able to get my hands on. I was watching another auction with the same poster with a buy it now at double that price so I'm very happy with my purchase. I feel even better about it now that ...

I will post some recent auctions I won.

Won: Metal Gear Solid Marketing Standee & Extras! RARE! NEW!
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0283867192
Price: $110.20
Comments: I originally placed the first bid for this item, and it stayed at $50 for a long time, so I figured hey, I might get it at a low low price. Haha wrong, but oh well. Still glad to have it.

Won: SEALED MGS 2 Premium Edition
Link: http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w28353863
Price: $202 (+/-)
Comments: Only took one bid thankfully. I am into collecting sealed items and couldn't pass this one up. I know violentsnake was looking at it. I agree it looks pretty banged up to be sealed, but I'll take my chances and see it when it arrives, maybe it will be in better condition. Again, I didn't want to pass this item up.

Won: McFarlane Chase Metal Gear ToyFair Silver Solid Snake
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0253098858
Price: $23.49
Comments: I'm sure I broke some hearts with this one. But I am pleased I got it for such a low price. I figured this one was going to give me the most trouble with bidders. I offered him $100 originally, but ended up getting it for $23.

Welcome aboard Screaming Mantis and Bay, good to have you here. You got some good deals there Mantic, especially the McFarlane figure. Nice one, they seem to be going really cheap and what I'm gutted about is the fact that I've been watching the same one for £140 "buy it now" for ages!

If anyone sees this on the cheap again, let me know. It's a nice figure!

Yeah Bay that was me, sorry, are you out for blood? :)

I was going to bid on this, the guy is in the town next to mine. i wrote him and he said i could pick it up but he said he wouldn't take off the insane shipping fee. He also wanted to charge more to ship the box in a box to avoid banging up the original. I'm tempted to report him to ebay for dodging ebay fees since he was quite rude.

I really don't have the room for a standee, but it it a pretty sweet one i must admit.

i was thinking of Mario when i saw this as well, tho since it does seem a bit dinged up i passed. I got an opened one off YAJ last month and probably wouldn't only be looking for a pristine sealed box now. I'm not big on collecting sealed items, as I'm a big "enjoy what you get" person, but it's the first "sealed" one i've seen come up in awhile.

Not at all :) That auction ended way too high for my liking for the condition of it. Now that I know a collector here nabbed it, I do hope it's in really nice condition when you receive it. There was also a mint Silver box going at the same time, with everything inside still sealed, but I opted just to stay out of bidding this weekend all together. :)

Thanks man, I appreciate it! And yeah I bidded on the silver premium too, but I wanted to keep my money for the Gold one, so I stopeed after it went over my maximum bid. It was a lovely set though.

Well I'm bricking it about the condition its gonna arrive in to be honest, I'm not a "Sealed" collector per-se, but I didn't wanna miss out y'know. I really hope it's in good condition. If it's not, then I'm gonna be knocking on someone's door pretty soon to secure me a deal on another sealed Gold Premium Pack - yeah you know who you are! lol. If it is dodgy, I'll sell it on hopefully. But I got my fingers crossed that this one will be ok. Other than the seal though, it looked ok right? Or do you know something I don't!?!

it's more of the worry of how the seal got to be in such poor condition. sometimes you can't see things due to the light/angle so the hope is that the box isn't bent/scuffed underneath whatever caused that damage to the seal.

i also like to be bidding along side the japanese market and not just against non japanese bidders. in the end the non japanese bidders were fighting through bidding services, which leaves an odd taste after the bidding has ended.

Well I'm feeling so much more optimistic about it now! lol.

I honestly don't think it looks that bad in the pics but hey, I'll be the first to admit when I'm not happy with an item so I guess I can only hope that it arrives here in a good condition.

The MGS premium packs are awful for getting battered aren't they!

I have no experience whatsoever with Japanese Auctions, so yeah, I probably paid over the odds for it, and I hadn't a clue that the bidders were using bidding serices either, except myself of course. This was my first time. However disheartening this conversation has been for me, I'm sure I'll be happy with my purchase.

Hey Bay and Screaming Mantis, welcome aboard!

Awesome wins man. That marketing standee is awesome. I really thought long and hard on that one heh. MGS2 premium pack is great too. Hopefully there is no damage and it's just the picture. If that's the case you've got a great score.

$23 for the toyfair figure is crazy. Half what I paid!!!

Gixo - yeah those double disc cases are really proned to cracking...I almost always get those shipped box. As long as it's not in a bubble mailer you'll be fine.
