3D animation about the first Metal Gear

Post by lazaromartinez3d »

Hi guys!

My name is Lazaro Martinez.
I guess some of you know about this already, becuase some of the guys here are in good terms with the guys at thesnakesoup.org (at least Artemio, if I recall correctly?) but I wanted to share a 3D animated spoof about the first Metal gear game (the MSX one) I've done for them. It was a collaborative effort divided in three parts, and I was to animate and direct the third one.
It's been months of hard work, but it's finally done. It starts with a static images prologue summarizing the events of parts I & II, but Snake starts doing 3D stuff soon enough. Hope you guys like it!:

Thanks, man!
I don't know how do Ravi or the rest of the boys feel, but if they wanted to go for the second game, I'd be more than willing to animate it!

Today, I added a spanish subtitles track to the video. I know it's not of much use among forum users here, but if you happen to know of someone that might want to watch the video, but didn't because of the language barrier, now they can.

Once holidays are over, I'm planning to translate it at least to french as well.
