Don't think we'll ever get the option on a game so dialogue-heavy. Oh, and we didn't really feel like lucky bastards during the 7 month localisation wait (compared to America's 1 month).

Henry Spencer wrote:^ It's alright, the dubbing is good really I think, bnothing that bad with it. I'm hoping to acquire a Japanese version however, with luck soon.
Y'know what'd be cool? If somehow one could rip the Japanese dialogue tracks and patch 'em to the English version...

Why does everybody hate the english voice actors? I always thought that they did an excellent job. The problem with having games in Japanese with subtitles is that most people won't ever buy a product with that as the only option. Not to mention (this is for the ps2) there's not really enough space to have double the amount of dialogue in every single game. Now I do like the option, like they gave on Odin Sphere and Dracula X chronicles, but it's not really a mainstream thing that most people care about. Now that we have blu-ray we could fit the dual language audio and stuff like that, so maybe that would be a bit more hopeful in the future.

I hate the ZOE2 dub, not because of the actors, but because of the dialogue. It's terrible, terrible dialogue. The actors actually did a good job considering the material they had to work with, but fuck the writing in that game sucked.

I guess the dialogue didn't really bother so much. Maybe because I've never looked at a different translation from another source. Plus, I've been a bit desensitized due to playing games like (the original translation) symphony of the night, in which both the dialogue AND the voice actors were crap.
