 ZOE HD?
Since the ZOE HD collection is quite a ways off compared to the MGS one, it really hasn't been focused on. Here is a shot however from Kojima's Twitter.
If this is from the HD collection, it seems MGS's aspect ratio issue won't apply. EDITED @ September 14, 2011 At the Sony event at TGS, they showed off a few things such as features for the Vita and and some games. At one point, Kojima appears on stage and announces... what we basically already know, that his HD Collections are coming out on PS3 and Vita, and he likely mentioned transfarring. I dunno, I can't understand Japanese. Why am I editing this post here to show this? Because during the conference they showed a teaser for the ZOE HD Collection, mostly of anime footage in The 2nd Runner.

 Re: ZOE HD?
The Zone of the Enders HD Collection looks very cool. I havent actually played ZoE yet so this is a must-buy for me. Perhaps I'll pick up a Vita so I can test out TRANSFARRING. Can't wait to see this come out.
I started playing ZOE1 but never got very far. This'll be a good excuse to pick it up again.

 Re: ZOE HD?
ZOE HD will also have a demo of Revengeance. Reminding anyone of the MGS2 demo?

 Re: ZOE HD?
I hope this game doesn't end up as glitchy and unpolished as the MGS and Silent Hill HD Collections. I also wonder if they'll include Zoradius.
Edit: Yeah man. That MGS2 Demo was the shit.

 Re: ZOE HD?
I look forward to it, but hope I am not disappointed by quality. The intro looks great, but I kindda liked the mix of in engine and animation from the original. Still excited though.

It's usually used when people remisce about something, for example "Pokemon was the shit." It's still slang and is very informal, but that's what it means. Now, if I just said "Shit" by itself, then it means bad.

 Re: ZOE HD?
I played the demo while at E3, so far it plays great. ZOE 1 did have some frame drops here and there, and ZOE 2 had no issues at all, it plays great. I finished both demos just a couple of times... a shame I had no control over the TV and settings though, I would have liked to check sevral things.

 Re: ZOE HD?
Dammit!
Well, I guess one of these days I'll have to pick up the Limited Edition for the 360. Oh, and the MG RISING: REVENGEANCE Demo is pretty sweet.

 Re: ZOE HD?
I'm getting the PS3 version for Christmas and a patch better damn well be available before Christmas.
Also, High Voltage Software is fucking responsible for the port.

 Re: ZOE HD?
You probably know this by now, but the ZoE HD Collection was kind of a flub. Enough so that they needed to bring in a completely new company, one which went to the effort to reprogramming the game for PS3 (and only for ps3, sorry xbox users). Put your hands together for Hexadrive, the people who made HD versions of Rez and Okami. They took the worst version of Second Runner and made it the best! The patch apparently does nothing for ZoE1 though, I guess they wanted to focus their (lack of) time on the favorite. Here's an article with comparison whatnot here but I hope you can read Japanese or google-translated engrish. The future, as advertised, is here!

 Re: ZOE HD?
Yeah, I picked up the collection last weekend and platinum'd ZOE2. The patch is great, really smooth and seems to have better framerate than I remember the original game having in parts. Really fantastic job that does justice to an incredible game. With the 'patch'(really it's an entire rewrite of the game's rendering engine) this is the definitive version of the game, looks stunning and for my money is easily one of the best games on the PS3. Also since I was in a PAL region the HD collection is really much much better, as it runs at a much higher framerate and gets rid of the gigantic black borders I remember filling the screen. ZOE1 is still a pretty painful experience though, but the game itself is far inferior to ZOE2 anyway and I have no real desire to play it more than once(while I have cleared ZOE2 5 times by now), so I don't care.

 Re: ZOE HD?
I believe that there was even an already patched physical re-release in Japan, in case you want that archived =)

 Re: ZOE HD?
I can confirm that the "The best" edition is already patched in disc, and not only that.. the horrible case is just a sleeve. The game has the same design without the white borders, and without "the best" plastered over it.

 Re: ZOE HD?
http://www.konami.jp/zoe_hd/jp/hd.htmlLOL, seriously Konami? Either they can't shrink the picture right or they're trying to persuade people that the PS2 looks like shit, despite both the PS3 and 360 having some artifacts that can't be emulated from the PS2 versions (same as the MGS HD Collection). Though speaking of Hexadrive, they recently worked on The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD's graphics.
