I'm making ZOE 2 anthology - need your ideas

Post by Xenoex »

Hi,
I'm making a ZOE2 anthology using my dvd recorder.
The idea is to record all the cutscenes, and patch them together using bits and pieces of actual ingame sequences to make the cutscenes look more fluid.

Any ideas on what sytle I should use to merge the sequences to the cutscenes?
My current idea is Cutscene > immediate sequence , fade out, > fade in to later part of sequcence , fade out, > fade in to last part of sequence immediately before the next Cutscene > next cutscene.

I've been recording non stop since the game started, and its taken about 75 min recording time up to Vic Viper fight. I'd say about 15 min of those are cutscenes/in cabin conversations.
So, if only cutscenes are included for the whole game, I'd say the film will be a bit under 2 hours long.

I'd go against fades, because they cut the flow. They are better applied when a change os setting or pacing is needed. Otherwise swapts or quick edition would be better.
