Shin Bokura no Taiyô: Gyakushû no Sabata

Post by Johnny Undaunted »

I'm surprised nobody posted this yet.

It seems that Konami announced the third installment of the Boktai series ("The New Boktai: Sabata's Counterattack", nicknamed Shintai) for the GBA.

Apparently, there's two Djangos now (red and black), as well as a new TNS gauge (for unrevealed purpose).

Wow...

I've been really disconnected lately..

Great thing to know, though I feel it is a little too soon, no? Although it doesn't show I date as far as I can tell....

I need to do a couple of updates to the news page

To be honest, I'm caring less and less about the boktai series, now (and I rarely get a chance to play it, in gloomy Scotland). I probably won't buy another boktai game until the new DS version comes out.

Heheh, those are my scans.

It feels that Kojima didn't have much to do with Boktai 2, and probably won't have much to do with any of the rest of the Boktai games.

Boktai 3 (Shintai) seems to bring some of the gameplay back to the series from the first game (I hope), while still keeping what was done with the second game.

Well that would explain why I liked the first one more. Though I really liked some of the music in the second. Appropriately Morricone-ish.

Wait a second... it's spring!

I have to finish up the original Boktai this year. :)
