Welcome!

Well, I hope this forums add something to the actual community. I believe that although there are a lot of Meta Gear dedicated forums in excellent sites, there are no centralaized ones for specific games.

Please post your comments and be patient until a community grows or the forums dissapear =P

You've been doing great work, and now you have a message board too. Very cool. I'll try to get some of my other friends to join and fill in the Boktai board.

Thanks for all the information that you put out for us.

This is just a small thing, but do you think you could put a link to the forums on the homepage. I couldn't find one there, and the only place I knew about it was on the new page. I just might help guide smoe poeple here.

I just want to say thanks for providing such a great site (now with a forum!). Hopefully this place will grow quickly and become the number one Kojima-san related forum on the net. Thanks again. :)

Hey, I'm here. I had a little trouble activating my usual name account (Snatcher2047, hence the x at the end), but I'm finally here.

Can't wait to see how this board turns out.

Not sure if the forums were inevitable at JunkerHQ, but I look forward to posting here =)

Took me a while to get my account and password working, but it seems to all be in order now. Looks spiffy! I'll have to check this place now and again.

Nice. It was kinda annoying having to talk about Snatcher and Policenauts in some dark corner of Metal Gear boards.

Well I promised I'd post here evenutally, so here I am.

I got my start on Kojima's games back in the days of the NES version of Metal Gear. Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of playing the Sega CD version of Snatcher properly (I played it via emulator, and unfortunately that meant I had to skip some scenes, and since I copied the disc wrong (yeah, I never played it on an original Genesis/Sega CD) the voices were skipping extremely badly, in addition the emulator had problems at some parts so I had to load up special saves)

I've never played Policenauts, (though if the translation project is ever deemed successful, I want to change that) however I did see the scenes from the original PSX MGS.

And as for MG2:SS, I also played that via emulator... never did get past the 'follow the green beret' part, though...

I'll never forget my first experience with MGS, it was an OPM demo and it literally blew me away. MGS2 was pretty amazing too (although when kojima broke the fourth wall near the end of the game I was genuinely freaked out! :O)

As for MGS3, well I read something in one of the threads in the MGS3 section of the board, which convinced me that it will be my PS2 game of the year.
