You got a Calorie Mate?! I want to try one of those so bad. Do you know where I could get one? Are they only sold in Japan or what?

Unfortunately I don't know where to get one, but they are indeed sold at Japan.

I'll post pics of what it looks like these days though =)

There is a store near where I live that carries a TON of various japanese candy (Poke sticks own you), and even some nutrient bars, so I may see one there :D

The chocolate ones look totally different. They're like blocks of dry chocolate.

Are you, or is anyone else, planning to transcribe Kojima's message?

What's that got to do with trying a CalorieMate?

Uhh.... if you'll notice, this topic was created for discussion of both the Shareholder's Edition of MGS3 and the Calorie Mate.

I have the original and the chocolate kind in my cupboard right now :D I'm thinking about posting a pictorial review of these "tasty snacks" (Hint: You need about 100 bottles of water to wash these things down).

Yeah, you're not missing much, people. They're pretty disgusting. They're like chocolate-covered (or cheese-, or whatever other flavors they have now-) mothballs.

They also brought out a drink advertised by Keifer Sutherland in a 24-style TV ad. That probably tastes like monkey urine.

Imagine shortbread made with dust instead of sugar. That's about it. The cheese flavour is about as bad as I could imagine anything tasting.

They look delicious! Anyone know where I could buy the chocolate variety?
