Hi i am using windows xp, the message says after xdelta 3 files not opened, i first used the software in the guide, on this site, then used the video guided on youtube, and also downloaded software, specific for iso,s, which crashed.

I seem to have tried most ways of doing this.

Are you sure all the files are on the same folder and named correctly? Can you take a screenshot of the folder in question?

To take a screenshot just press the key named "Print Screen" on the upper right area of your keyboard. Then open PAINT and paste it there, save the file as gif or bmp and post it here.

You need to create the file first. Just open paint form your start menu and then do CTRL+V there.

As you can see in your folder, you have bin files for the Policenauts cd images. Some have reported sucess when renaming them to iso. So you should just change the extention from bin to iso on your CD image files. Or you should try rippingyour game following the instructions instead of dumping it to BIN/CUE.

I cant change the files to iso, because i cant open them, i have to open the files, to change the extensions, i did follow the instructions, last week, but had no luck and deleted the files, from back then.

Thanks for the information, though.

Hi i managed to rename the files, and ran the patch program, it only took a very short amount of time, to patch the discs, but the text is still in japanese.

Maybe you just need to read the readme.txt...
Step 5: Play Policenauts

The new Policenauts_English ISOs are the patched copies. Whether you want to emulate or play in hardware is up to you.
The patched files are: Policenauts_English1.iso and Policenauts_English2.iso

I have followed the instructions, i have a chiped psone, which runs import games, so i dont know why the text is still in japanese.

Would you like me to take a screenshot of the file again, as it is now?

cue files are needed for bin files, when you ripped your discs you selected that format.

Yes, a new screenshot would help.

If that is the case why wont the patch work, as i mentioned my psone if chiped to play import games, but when i put policinauts on after the patch process, the text was in japanese, are there any files in my folder which should not be there?

You should just burn the English.iso files and everything should work ok. Otherwise you did something wrong along the process. otherwise, try asking somone more experienced with computers around you for help-

when you said burn the files, you mean run the patch bat program, which i tried, but the text is still japanese, is their a way of running the patch bat with just the 2 iso,s instead of the other files, which were in the screenshot i sent you?

you donĀ“t need to patch anymore, the file are already there. Policenauts_English1.Iso Policenauts_English2.Iso are your patched files.
try them out in an emulator or burn them to a blank cd. Read the policenauts patch readme, as its providung you info for burning the discs.

I did that used alcahol 120 as in the guide, used image burning wizard chose playstation format, but the psone does not recognise the disc, says to put in disc, although i have a modified psone, it could be it does not accept copies?
