Space Adventure (THE Snatcher clone?)
I discovered this game in 2003, and I finally managed to snag it this month. I never played it before, but the gameplay is similar to Snatcher. Plus there's alot of SEXY ladies in it.

Alrighty. It was originally on the PC Engine in 1991. It got ported to the Sega CD in 1994. All I know is that the main character's name is Cobra, and people thought he was dead for years, but when he comes back into the public eye, he has a price on his head.Henry Spencer wrote:Um, that's a very general title for a game. Can you please expand on what system it was for? When it was made? etc.

Didn't recieve it yet, but I can hardly wait. But I can't find a walkthrough for it on GameFAQS or any place. It's by Hudson Soft, who also made Bomberman and Star Soldier.Henry Spencer wrote:Ah yes, I recall that one now. I heard it's basically a cheesy B-movie version of Snatcher, pretty much. How is the game for you? You like it?

The free minded alright.
Oh yeah, and I'm only jokin' around...
That game is okay for what is it. I had some fun with it not too long ago. It fits a bit with the mechanics of Snatcher but falls on its ass in other areas.
Still fun to go at for while it lasts.
If you like games like that- hit Rise of the Dragon.
I'm so fucking lazy that I'll just copy and paste what I wrote be4 about that title :

Rise of the Dragon!
That Game is solid. Of course it is 2nd (3rd or 4th LOL!)place after you have played Snatcher. ROD lacks polish when one puts it head to head with Snatcher- still give it a go! For its own course it is a fun game.
Where you find a copy (Sega CD is what I played BTW) is your issue- get it where you may. A real disc with packing tho (good connection to the history of games through the ages) is always better then just a few less MBs of space on ones HDD after some data transfer server to client if you get my hint.
Still how ever you play it, while not fully as good as Snatcher, it is fun. Check it out!
There is a DOS version that looks better but I have not played that version.

See what I mean.
Enjoy!

Re: Space Adventure (THE Snatcher clone?)
Um, COBRA (in manga form) has been around for SOOOOOOOOOOO much longer than SNATCHERS it's likely the latter was influenced by former. Wiki it.

I played and beat Rise of the Dragon, but I was a bit dissapointed because of a couple of puzzles.joeypete wrote:That game is okay for what is it. I had some fun with it not too long ago. It fits a bit with the mechanics of Snatcher but falls on its ass in other areas.
