Hotel Dusk appreciation

Post by jcgamer60 »

Right now i'm replaying Hotel Dusk. I consider this one of my favourite games on the DS. This is my 2nd playthrough and I simply love the art style, writing, and soundtrack of this game. Its not often you see a game like this come out these days.

Cing did a great job on this game and I can't wait to see what adventure game they do next on the DS. I'm not sure how this game sold here, but I know it sold pretty well in Japan. I wouldn't mind a sequel, but I don't think Cing usually does sequels. I wouldn't want a sequel unless they had a good story anyway :D

Yes I also liked every aspect of it. Very well executed in every aspect, It had me completely hooked. If tehy sold the soundtrack I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

This is a game that I've been meaning to get for a while, but with the number of triple-a titles coming out for the next few months, I'm unlikely to get it any earlier than summer 2008. :(

I was hook on this game till I finish it...thanks to having played Trace Memory (the first game CING made for DS) I knew some of the puzzles (like the one that you had to close the DS). Can't wait for the next DS project, know they are busy collaborating making Project O right now, but I am sure they'll work on another DS adventure like game.
