The film is the exact same bitstream on both formats man, I checked it. So no need to get the BD to confirm it on your side.

I think the only reason i'd get the BD is if it was on 1 disc instead of 5.....if that's the case?

Both formats, HD-DVD and BD, are in 5 discs.

oh well...i was hoping for it to be all on 1 disc...

I guess since I have a PS3 I'd be more inclined to go for Blue Ray though, Just because my PS3 is my only movie player in the house (eventhough it also plays DVD's).

It would be very bad for it to be in only one disc though.. it would mean lower quality in all regards (and it wouldn't fit anyway).

Hey Im stuck on part of the game

Spoiler:
Its when there is a guy hadcuffed to a door with
a bomb next to him and he says help me! what do
you do? I shoot him free and try to run out but I get
blown up. For the first few seconds after exiting the
building it wont let me run. So do I leave him to get
blown up?

You just have to be VERY quick at doing this, I remember it taking me a dozen tries!
Make a save point before you enter, and just keep trying until you make it

it is hard to get away from the building, you have to click in the right spot and make sure you are running!
I found this to be the most difficult part in the game besides :

crossing the plank in the sewer with the rat at one end

I can get myself out just fine
maybe I should ditch him haha.

Its so stupid I cant make him run
until the last second and then I die.

The trick with that one is to click like crazy once you're out the door. You'll notice when playing that the more times you click in a direction you'd like McCoy to go in he'll go faster; so once he's out of the building, don't just single-click a part of the street far away from the building, octuple-click it, at least. Even then, it is quite tricky, but you'll get there eventually. Frankly, the reward you get for doing it isn't all that much anyway - just a few extra lines of dialogue.

Man, i remember this game. Absolutely loved it.
When i heard Blade Runner (the movie) was like Snatcher, i went to watch it but was somewhat disappointed. When the game came out, i bought it, played it (multiple times) and gave the movie another chance and i suddenly really loved it.
Heavy Rain reminded me about the Blade Runner game, like decisions that would change the progress of the story and the replayability, multiple endings etc. However, even Heavy Rain falls short in terms of possible outcomes (the killer is always the same person etc.) and it was great to ask oneself if even McCoy was a Replicant himself. I'd love to see a remake of this one, too. But not in the sense of changing anything at all, just HD graphics for the actors (those WERE kind of blurry), keep the original sound and gameplay 1:1 and there you go :P
