!!BEST FREAGKIN GAME OF DA YEAR!!

My Brothers and I just got done doing an endurance run on this game where we get together and play it at least once every week. (Inspired by GiantBomb's endurance run on Persona 4)
This game was a heck of allot of fun to play through and to do commentary on while playing and just making fun of the games completely ridiculous premise where a singing theater group get into giant steam powered robots and fend off demons that are attacking New York! Yes I know it's awesome isn’t it!?

The game plays mostly like a visual novel with one strategy RPG battle at the end of every chapter that plays allot like Valkyrie Chronicles. The main goal to the game is to gain trust points with your all female Squad of demon killing opera singers so that depending on your trust level with said character they will fight better or worse in battle. (As you can see on the box this game is rated 'T" So it's NOT a porn game!)

The game is split into 8 episodes and it took me about 40 hours to beat it and when the credits finally start rolling I felt incredibly sad that it was over.

Now this game is definitely an acquired taste but if your in the mood for a weird flying off the wall SRPG then look no further then Sakura Wars!

Been a fan of Sakura Taisen for years, importing almost all the games and playing them with online strategy guides. It makes me sad that this might be the only game in the series to ever make it over here, because the entire series is great. I'm especially a fan of the Sakura Taisen COLUMNS spinoff games.

Highly recommended for anyone just looking to have a fun game experience.

Hmm, I see it was made by Disgaea's company. Good enough for a reason for me to try this game out.

It was localized and published by NIS America but it was made by Red Company  But of course I still recommend checking it out.
