THAT IS WHAT THIS BOOK

SNOW CRASH

IS ALL ABOUT!!!!!! FUCKING READ THIS. Neal Stephenson, who is known for writing tons and tons of amazing Cyberpunk stories -wrote in 1992 this book -a book about a post-modern future with the usual virtual reality-jive under a strictly futuristic-military controlled atmosphere. It follows the amazing tale of Hiro: "Last of the freelance hackers and Greatest swordfighter in the world".

When Hiro loses his job as a pizza delivery driver for the Mafia, he meets a streetwise young girl nicknamed Y.T. (short for Yours Truly), who works as a skateboard "Kourier", and they decide to become partners in the intelligence business. The setting is a near-future, dystopian version of Los Angeles, where franchising, individual sovereignty and automobiles reign supreme (along with drug trafficking, violent crime, and traffic congestion).

UGGG GO FUCKING READ THIS!! CLASSIC if yee haven't already!

When I read the subject line I thought someone had been writing fanfics about my job at that pizza place. I've been wanting to read Snow Crash though for awhile. On a similar note...

HARD BOILED WONDERLAND AND THE END OF THE WORLD. Read it now, too.

READ IT! It's one of the best cyberpunk books I have ever had the privilege of reading. Nicely paced, engaging characters, tongue-in-cheek humor; this book has it all! :)
