What Are You Listening To Now?
Hu hu hu hu, I half hate myself for making this one, as it was the grounds for flame wars when I haunted the Silent Hill Heavens forums. This thread... will be immortal. *looks to the skies*
Noone can tell me they don't listen to music while they surf. Take that as a note, Sony, for an update or something for the PSP, for gawd's sake.
Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine
My friend sent it to me, it's a nice, older-sounding track, with this... hip backbeat. The only thing I've heard from this guy....

Super Brothers - Guitar Vader
From Jet Grind Radio.
The damn thing's on shuffle, so whatever I'm listening is up to the Zune program, not me, but I like it.

Most recently?
George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
Bo Diddley - Hey Bo Diddley!/Bo Diddley
The Beatles - Past Masters Volume 2
I always listen to albums rather than standalone tracks, even if 50's and early 60's stuff usually comes across better the other way.

Ministry - Burning Inside
from one of my favouritest albums ever, The Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Taste.
Also on the Hardware soundtrack, if I'm not mistaken.

I've got Empty Walls by Serj Tankian playing at the moment. One of the best songs I've heard in a while, considering most everything put out nowadays is garbage.

Code Monkey by Jonathan Coulton. Here's a link to him performing it.

My computer's packed away in a rubbermaid box, so I'm listening to whatever my sister has on her winamp playlist....
Tori Amos - Space Dog
Love this song... She's a strange cat, I enjoy it. Especially her early-mid 90s work, though any of her stuff is good for people who like something mellow... Her cover of Raining Blood was bitchin' though. If you can stand to be one of those Tori Amos people.

Shout by Tears for Fears.
I just finished a long-ass job for work. Perfect song for such occasions.

^ Fucking awesome song, I love Tears For Fears...
Sting - The Lazarus Heart
From the album, ...Nothing Like The Sun. I like this, and the proceeding 3 tracks...
Don't often like his solo work, it's far too tangental, lacking any real kinds of hooks, and with often quite dramatic lyrics... It's really really sad that he often doesn't like himself much anymore. A waste of talent, being unable to look in the mirror...

I downloaded a bootleg of "work-in-progress" versions of some songs from John Entwistle's "Too Late The Hero" last night. It's really great. I always hated the 80's-ness of that album, and these versions strip all that crap away from the songs. They still hold up, brilliantly. It's like having another "Smash Your Head Against The Wall".

"Soviet National Anthem"
"Red Army Choir"
Not a communist, but a catchy song indeed.
Also, It's on shuffle.

The Doors- Money
Considering the fact The Doors did psychedelia so well, I was quite surprised when I first found out how great a blues band they were. I never decide whether I prefer their début or "LA Woman".

L.A. Woman is more bluesy I believe. I also noticed that a few years ago and it is interesting to note that not much people reflect about that.
