Yu Suzuki, the creator of Shenmue, among other games, is no longer at Sega.
Although a lot of people indicate that this is the end of Shenmue, perhaps finishing it could become much easier for him, now that Sega is no longer going to waste his talents.
Either way, at least he's now free from the devil (Hajime Satomi and all of Sega-Sammy).

I still think Simon Jeffery is a complete douchebag. And so is all of Sega-Sammy.

Re: Yu Suzuki leaves Sega
Either way who cares? The guy'll be just as creative at any other company, maybe even a little more. The people that where whining about this seem to neglect the fact that it might actually be a good thing for Yu. Or it least it could have, had he actually left Sega or been fired or what have you.
