Metal Gear Mobile?

Post by DogofWar »

Hello Artemio, I was wondering if you and Takamichi could upload the mobile phone versions of metal gear to the computer. Since these games are only available for Japanese phones, I doubt that they'll ever come out in North America.

Maybe there might be a possibility to emulate these games. I would really like to play them to know the changes that have been made.

I am sorry, but as far as I know Takamichi didn't get them.. and neither did I. The possibility of finding them someday is open though.

I found out that it costs about 3 dollars for a download. I will pay Takamichi to download the game and I will pay him for his troubles uploading the game if he would.

I found a Metal Slug Mobile rom on the net but not any Metal Gear roms.

It used to be posted for stand alone optimal use on windows on emule and early torrents at it's release. If someone can get a copy, I can put it through my connections, and get it compatible with US binarary regional design.

I'm not an expert of cel-phone platforms or how to convert them to PC, but I do know that both ports (MG1+2) are avaible for i-mode, Vodafone and EZweb format, if that helps.

I assuming that EZweb is some kind of phone. If it is a computer application than we might be closer than expected.

I'm interested in playing these games because they are updates of the classics. From what I know in Metal Gear they added infinite bandana when you beat the game and a boss battle mode. In Metal Gear 2 they changed the characters faces in the radio mode to Shinkawa style artwork. For some reason they changed the name of Yozef Norden and Natasha to different names. I am not sure why. Those are the only changes that I'm aware of.

I'm pretty sure that there is no way in hell that they will release these stateside due to the fact that there is pretty much no market for cell phone games in America. In Europe I heard that there is a small market. The chances of these games being released in the West are slim therefore I see no problem with emulating them.

I'm guessing Natasha was changed, so there was no confusion between her and Nastasha Romanenko from MGS.

A UK version's a possibility, as there is a market for these. Many pages in magazines are taken up by games services for Mobile Phones, and some are even advertised on TV. Konami could release it here if they wanted, and it'd be sucess.

Yeah, but they kept George Kessler's name unchanged. Then again, he and Sears aren't known on a first-name basis like Natasha and Nastasha (and virtually all females in the game).

I'm not very familiar with bittorent. I have it but how do you search for stuff.

Was it also on emule? Is emule just another file sharing program? I'm really serious about getting these and I'll do whatever it takes or wait as long as I have to just to get them.
