Well it is pretty obvious Snatcher has a lot of similarities with Blade Runner, but I must admit I didn't recognize that this scene in the game is from Blade Runner concept art. Although I felt like I have seen something similar but didn't realize til now . I even have the Blade Runner Complete Collection DVD with exactly that concept art as a bonus (with some others also).
EDIT: Just noticed that part of that concept art was used in Alton Plaza:

It looks like someone on the snatcher team got ahold of syd's work.
Well yeah but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Syd Mead did an amazing job, although he was initially assigned to design the vehicles for Blade Runner. He liked drawing the concept vehicles with backgrounds so he can better visualize them in a environment. But his backgrounds were so good that Ridley Scott decided to assign him as a lead concept artist.
I love Syd's work, and the work that Snatcher's artist's did.
I did alot of reaserch into Blade Runner/Snatcher/related stuff around 2002/2003 before I first got ahold of the Red Faction engine (the snatcher mod's first and short lived incarnation).
That's when I came across alot of the concepts he did that didn't make it to the film, i thought it was a shame...but damn...the film is still amazing!
Wow, wasn't aware of this one. That's really interesting, thanks for sharing. What is with Japanese game developers and using the smallest of details from American movies and stuff as a art reference? I wish I still had the URL, but there is an awesome Japanese site out there that catalogues hundreds of cases like this.
