For the guy who does not understand how to patch iso ...

Post by thisheat »

Okay, BIG HUGE THANK YOU TO YOU GUYS :)
I downloaded the patch and ripped ISO'S of my original discs.
That is where it gets hazy. I read the tutorial and it makes very little sense to me. I put the iso's in the same directory as the patch, but do I have to download xdelta3 in addition to the stuff the patch file already has? Plus once I have done everything can I rip it to a disc to play on hardware/emu? I can I am sure but the last couple steps I do not get. I hope I am not the only one. I did not see anything on here about this particular issue, so please don't flame me :(
I am dying to play this legendary game, who can help the fool??
Maybe a more indepth FAQ, For the mildy computer literate?
OR Policenauts patch for dummies:)
Thank you team!!!

You basically have it.

Yes you need to download the Xdelta file they mention in the readme.

Place it in the same directory as the Iso's and all the other stuff.

Make sure your Iso's for disc 1 and 2 are named accordingly.

Disc1 is named policenauts1.iso
Disc2 is named policenauts2.iso

double click the Batch file and follow the instructions(simple hit any key to start)

If disc 1 or disc 2 or both discs give you an error during the patching..take a look at the "report issues here" thread There is a fix in there.

Enjoy
