Why do you say that? The platform that would offer the biggest opportunity for sales would be PS2 (and that's their big concern). PSP would make the games more niche, along the lines of Sega CD Snatcher. Just my opinion...

If the sound support's good enough, I'd use the DS. The Touchscreen would work very well, especially for Policenauts.

Yeah, these days they could probably make a DS version that's identical to the console versions. The DS runs off of flash memory, and flash memory comes in high capacities, so they could fit all of the data uncompressed on a large card. Of course, today, we have good audio compression techniques, so that may fraction the data size...

Would you guys not prefer to have it on a home console, for the larger screen and better sound?

Well, I'd personally prefer it on the DS, but then again, that would be for a straight port of the 32-bit versions. If they were to enhance the graphics and CG then it would be well suited for a next-gen system, though it will always be obvious that this game was originally designed for consoles 10 years behind the times.

Making Snatcher 3D would ruin it, don't you think? I mean, the game was meant to be like an interactive comic book, and you don't see many 3D comics unless they're on some weird fat guy's porn site where some 3D chick screws a whole lotta aliens also shoddily rendered in 3D... Just a thought.

A graphic novel should stay a graphic novel...I mean digi comic.
The 3d intro for the PSone Snatcher sucked.

Yeah it was terrible. They should of done an anime type intro like the Sega CD version - it would have held up better 10 years later that way. Look at how good Policenauts still looks.

There was a PsOne 3D Snatcher intro???.... Did it suck because it looked like an over-rendered piece of shit or something like that?

More like under-rendered. Cheesy CG intros were quite common in the early 32-bit era, I'm afraid. You should know this already...I recommend completion of at least one version of Snatcher and a thorough read-thorugh of JUNKER HQ before posting. ^^

Yeah, I would've completed Snatcher but I'm at a disadvantage. I haven't seen my SCD or copy of Snatcher as a matter of fact in 10 years. I used to own a Windows, but tragically, as dad unplugged the vacuum cleaner, the console itself made a loud "bang" noise and was smoking from the back. I own several versions of Snatcher on my computer... I'm just unable to play them because I have an iMac G5, obviously a non-Microsoft computer, and the iMac G5's don't take floppy disks or have a Sega CD emulator available for them, as you'd already know, 8bit. But you're right, I should complete at least one before posting... :( *shame*

Well, that's what happens when you live in a country that uses 220 voltage...I was in Egypt not long ago, and every time I plugged in or unplugged something, sparks would shoot furiously out of the socket. Back in the USA, everything's kosher.

Look, Australia hasn't got dodge electricity. We just had a power failure and then something went wrong. It also had a couple of viruses on it so it was fucked either way. This is also why I like Macs better - lesser viruses and the firewalls are harder to hack.
